I find it awfully discouraging that the articles I posted that were hosted by stevequayle.com, which originated from viable news and various other sources, were pulled and that the only reason given for their exclusion was that, and I quote, "I don't think we want stevequayle.com here".

Don't sweat it, that's why I don't post here anymore either.

It seems many of those here have nothing better to do then berate those who attempt to make a positive contribution.

Spend any time here at all, and you will see what I mean.

You will also discover the "rules" of the road, so to speak.

for starters the links to the websites were posted. Not hyperlinked, but in text format that could have been copied and pasted.

I don't want to seem like a heavy or anything, but it's one of the fundamental premises of FR that one does not have a right to post either articles or comments here. It is a privilege, subject to the approval of the site's owner and representatives, which may be as arbitrary as those entities' fundamental rights of private property allow.

But welcome to FR anyhow. Kick back, chill a little and learn its unique culture. And understand that if the Mods occasionally have a quick trigger finger it's because this place has become a lightning rod for losers attempting to discredit it by posting silliness or outright poison.

BTW, I did check out the website. My personal guess is that either Steve is trembling in a bunker somewhere or he's trying to sell something...or both. Just a guess.

Only thing I agree with him on is his Teake on the future of Genetics, and I enjoy his website as a quick and easy way to get my hands on articles pertaining to the terrorism in our great country

Careful, the LA Slimes and the Washington Compost also own other publications from which FR can't post. For instance, I believe the Slimes owns the Chicago Trib.

I know there's a complete list floating around somewhere, but I can't remember how to find it.

The issue is you didn't need the fringe third party site between the original article and FR.
Some might view your linking to the original article by way of the fringe site as advertising and promoting the fringe site.
I think that isn't allowed here.

As Cultural Jihad said, post from the direct source and leave the third party sites out of this.
