President Bush's Message to the Grassroots: "I Need You"
Bush Team Leaders ^ | 10/28/03 | President George W. Bush

Posted on 10/28/2003 1:09:13 PM PST by Marcus Alonzo Hanna

Dear Republican,

Over the last few months, Laura and I have traveled the country and have been humbled by the enthusiastic support we have been given.

Our country has faced many challenges in the last two and half years and we are meeting these challenges at home and abroad. We're defeating the enemies of freedom. And at the same time, we're confronting challenges to build prosperity for our nation and a more compassionate society.

Every test has revealed the true character of America. And no one in the world can doubt the spirit and will and strength of the American people.

We are meeting the challenges of our time but there is much more to be done and I need your support. Will you join me in these efforts by volunteering for my re-election campaign as a Bush Team Leader?

http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp/

As a Bush Team Leader you will be asked to help by volunteering at local events, hosting your own events, registering new voters, turning out voters on Election Day and more. Most importantly, you will be asked to recruit more Bush Team Leaders to help us win in November 2004. Please sign up to be a part of this important effort today.

The challenges we face cannot be met with timid actions or bitter words. They will be overcome with optimism and resolve and confidence in the ideals of America.

We are acting to advance human freedom and liberty and making the world and America more secure. We took action to create jobs and get the economy growing again.

We acted on principle. You did not send me to this office to mark time. You sent me here to restore dignity and honor to the White House and to help build a safe and prosperous and caring nation. Will you join me in this effort by becoming a Bush Team Leader and volunteer your time?

http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp/

I want to thank you for the work that you will do in the months to come. There is no question in my mind that with your help we are laying the foundation to win a great victory in November of 2004.

Sincerely,

George W. Bush

P.S. Again, thank you for making my campaign strong at the grassroots level all across the country. I am grateful to the over 300,000 Americans that have contributed to my campaign and the millions more who've signed up on the campaign email list. And I am grateful to everyone that chooses to volunteer in support of this effort. I need you to make certain your friends and family register to vote. I need you to make phone calls, send emails, help organize rallies, put up signs, and get out the vote. I need you to volunteer in my campaign today.

...but Dubyuh and his supporters need to get the message that there is a cost to ignoring conservative principles in his domestic agenda.

You tried that in '92 and you screwed up the country.

Theree's still time before now and November 2004 to right the ship, but not if we blindly go along to get along!!

So, what do you propose to 'right the ship', as you say?

Whining on websites?

"Lots of these people are NOT real Republicans!!!!" Actually, there are a lot of registered Republicans who would fall under the paleo-conservative category. The Republican party has room for both the paleo's and neocon's. In otherwords, I believe it is far more damaging to the party to pull a David Frum and demonize paleocons to the point where the paleocons do not even want to have anything to do the the Republican Party. For the Republican Party to remain viable, both paleo's and neocon's need to have an active voice.

They have a "voice"; the problem comes when they threaten to sit home if they don't get their way -- or if the majority overrules them.

There are more than JUST conservatives in the Republican Party.

During the recent California recall election we saw a lot of Stalinist-based ideological sentiment of Dialectical Materialism which said: "Give the election to the worst of the contenders -- let the Democrats win, and let them run down the state into utter ruin, and then The People shall arise in righteous fury to shake off their oppressive shackles of slavery for good! We must oppress people in order to free people! Sure, it's a contradiction, but only in embracing and expanding upon the contradictions can the wonderous Dialectical Materialist Leap bring us to a glorious future!"

"Lots of these people are NOT real Republicans!!!!"

Welcome aboard...... If you hang around here long enough and happen to support some of the Republican candidates and maybe even President Bush, then the chances are you may be told by some that you aren't a 'real Republican'.... time will tell.

Just make up your minds, who do you see as the greater threat the demos or Pubs.

Just on illegal immigration alone he's squandered at least 1-2 million votes. People in the Southwest are especially furious over his complete incompetence in handling this problem......and it's become a very serious problem.

Well we've been getting screwed on this for 30 years. Lets look at those SW states that he's losing ... California, lost last time. New Mexico, lost last time. Texas, won and will win again. So the only SW state in play is Arizona.

Dearest President Bush:

Since you ordered your Treasury Department to accept this card, you should have no trouble cashing your own check with it.*

I intend to vote for no one, I refuse to be a plantation Republican. He has not danced with the one that brung him, as I warned right after the election and that statement was pilfered by Fox News. Now he can dance by himself as far as I, and many other conservatives, are concerned.

Stop being a blame the victim advocate and place the blame for his loss of standing with conservatives where it rightly belongs. With a President that cannot seem to distinquish between being the President of his fellow countrymen, and being the President, in his misty globalist dream, of one nation "from the north of Canada to the tip of Cape Horn".

Thanks for posting this. I got this last week in a letter with a picture of our president and Laura.

Don't worry about the whining losers in life saying that they will never vote for President Bush.

They never voted for him. They are pretend Rinos shilling as fifth columnists for the Rats. Hell, they ain't ever real Rinos. They are pretend Rinos.

If I had a $ for every time one of these losers in life has posted, "I will never vote for GW!", I could probably bail out the state of California and have money left over.

Time to donate more money for GW!

We will elect George W. Bush in 2004 without them.

Yes! Add my vote and 14 votes from my family to his total.
