Saw it first on the satellite photos, then a day later heard a comment on the news, then nothing. For that reason only, I doubt any Al Quada basis, but it would be reassuring to know exactly what the Chinese are doing in space right now,..especially considering the solar flare this morning,...seems like that would postpone any significant scientific venture for a time.

Check the mountains as viewed from my back yard...not much to worry about in that regard.

However, it's anybody's guess how long that scenario holds.

I would agree with that as well. Very little info out on East San Diego and what is happening. Everytime I see pictures from San Diego and interviews, they seem to be from Scripps Ranch.
