I believe that the darkened areas are developed - local steets and such. Correct me if I'm wrong, somebody.

I just got here and have checked back 100 posts or so, but see no mention of the Devore area. The Old fire has pushed up into Devore in the Cajon Pass and we can see fire and smoke from the desert now. Have you heard any late reports?

What the heck is that? (Throwing monitor in trash and replacing it?----yes, I thought about that, but I just had to spend money on a plane ticket for my daughter to come out for Christmas.....that was first, monitor is second.......and it's driving me crazy in the meantime)!

Unbelievable, isn't it?

They may be committed totheir cause...but least they're getting large doses of bad air in the process.

Thanks for the compliment. :-)

BTW Used monitors are very cheap. Goodwill sells 'em penneys on the dollar

if fire gets into Lake Arrowhead, this is where all the beetle damage is. I hunt there and the forest is all dead. The Jeffrey pines there will go up like Roman Candles. If the fire gets into those huge stands of dead trees the whole mtn will burn down.

THis is the place where the news reported was the worst fire dange in the nation this summer. USFS has been logging the trees to head off disaster but it thje usual case of last-minititus
