spectr....forgive my otherwise sounding stupid, but my monitor colors aren't working right.....and I cannot pick up any colors other than blue/gray/yellow. Tell me what you see on that map. Thanks so much.
To: spectr17
That map is unbelieveable and it has spread even farther east and up the mountain. I cannot imagine what you are all seeing right now -- bet it doesn't even seem real.

That was quite a week wasn't it? But don't thank me for this one -- these folks are living it. I'm just slowing down the bandwidth flow. :)
To: nicmarlo
The color in the middle is red for us, that's the fire as of yesterday. It has pushed east and north up to hwy 18, threatening Lake Arrowhead and the whole mtn.
To: spectr17
What I see: from mid-map to bottom = gray, above = yellow, except for lake = blue.

sorry, your monitor is hosed. Gray to bottom is where I'm at, red in middle is fire and there is green up on mtn where fire hasn't burned yet
To: spectr17
thanks for explaing spectr....then I assume what I see as DARK grey must be red.
To: spectr17
I have a question for you regarding the map in post #1,777.
Do the darkened areas around Lake Arrowhead and Lake Gregory represent burnt ground?

Now, I always thought Simi Valley was north of Chatsworth. Isn't it? It's East.
I live just below (south) of where the map has "Tom" on it.
To: nicmarlo
Have you considered percusive maintenence?

Don't look now ladies...but your pettiness showing That has got to be the understatement of this entire situation.
I'm on the east coast and not particularly and totally anti-union - but that picture sure could send me in that very direction.
It's a shame that is the pic that struck me most of your series and commentary which were excellent.
