I hope Larry gets as much info on this case and asks Michael Schiavo some tough questions.

Here's a bit from Dr. Michael Baden, forensic pathogist, who finally got info from Terri's initial injuries -- in interview w/Greta Van Susteren;
"Dr.Baden: ...and it does show evidence that there are OTHER injuries, other bone fractures, that are in the healing stage."

I actually am interested in Michael's side of the story. I do not think he is a monster. I find it incredible that this man has been living this nightmare for 14 years, and you all come in the past month and think you can pass judgement on him. I'm disappointed, but not surprised.

I hear Scott Peterson could use some fan mail......

Do you really believe that a man who already has another woman on the side should have complete control over his helpless wife? When you break your vows, the marriage is over or should be. The same would go for a woman who has taken on a new lover ---- should she be the one to decide her husband lives or dies by starvation?

Well ---- you're accusing Terri of causing her own injuries by "overdieting" which there is no indication she was doing. There is no proof that she was an anorexic, she told her mother she was eating. She wanted to see a different doctor which makes me think she was concerned about her health.

Okay --- so this debate is getting down to personal attacks and insults. I assume you've run out of arguments then?

The Doctor's say it was caused by a potassium imbalance. That's the only fact we know. The next step is to find out what causes a potassium imbalance in women her age. From what I understand (and I will try to get material to back this up) is the overuse of laxatives and diuretics are to blame. That is not uncommon with young women who are obsessed with their weight, as it has been described Terri as being. Again, I am not saying this is what happened, but it's taking the facts and piecing it together. NOT PURE SPECULATION.

Since Terri was allegedly watching a film about Karen Ann Quinlan at the time she made the "no tubes" comment, her comment was probably 100% emotion based.

Does your rejection of emotion based, immature comments include rejection the alleged comment from Terri, that she made when she was in her twenties?

There are some new doctors apparently now in this case who are questioning that. Wasn't that diagnosis made by some doctor hired by Michael who just quit?

Does anyone know about his past before he married Terri. Where did he go to school? Is he from Fla.? Wondering what his teachers and classmates thought of him.

I've asked the same thing, but no one has replied. He and the Schindlers came to FL about 1984 from the Philadelphia suburbs.

I did e-mail Larry King's show and not only asked that question, but said I'd like to see what a lie detector test would show if they asked Michael, "If you, Michael, were in Terri's exact situation now, would you want your unfaithful spouse to be making your medical decisions for you?" I don't know if that'll ever happen - I doubt it, but I'd sure like to see the look on his face just for the asking. I have only been following Terri's case for 2 weeks - first heard about it on the national news when her g-tube was pulled. I hadn't heard of any reasons for why Michael had put in the tube. I thought that alone sounded like he was the one who had then violated her wishes and instructions, her constitutional rights, etc... He's trying to turn the tables on the Governor and legislators now, but he needs the tables turned on him. The crazy things that this man has been doing like that ( the g-tube put in, then pulled out ), plus not allowing her family to see her, etc... makes him look very unstable minded to me personally. Terri's case is very sensitive to me and my family here in MN ( as you all know by now, we have a 9 year old son who has cerebral palsy and a g-tube ). I feel so strongly about the rights of disabled individuals that until I know she is absolutely safe and sound with a new guardian, etc... that I will never stop advocating for her rights.

Not even Schiavo's doctors knew her problem. This is also typical. They don't know what to look for.

Yes eating disorders are bad and they can kill ---- but there is no proof at all that Terri had one. No eating disorder was ever diagnosed. I know at one point her weight dropped to 120 pounds and she was 5'3" so I'm not sure how severe her eating disorder was.
