I know all that about Felos. The only time I listen to him is to catch him in contradictions. That "repugnant" remark was NOT mine! It's Felos' quote in the newspaper article.
Ferraro's brief is dated 30 August 2003. Is this one (of the ones) that the court rejected?
And as for who sets laws, of course it is the legislators who set laws, & the right-to-die law is one of them. Judge Greer maintains that he has followed the law.
It is up to Greer & Felos' peers to decide if they have conflicts of interest, insanity, etc., & the proper channels must be gone through to initiate an investigation.
Anyway, I know that you know all of that.

Greta Van Susteran is going to be talking about Terri coming up....at least that is what I think I heard!

As I have said before, I know a LITTLE more about criminal law than civil. In a criminal trial, a judge would not have allowed the husband's & his relatives hearsay testimony - it would have been deemed "bias."
I have no idea of how any right to die laws would be overturned by this. What I'm getting at is, WE have forced a state to convene its legislature for the explicit reason of having the governor intervene in a court ordered case.

I just read that in the past that Judge Greer was named by the court to be Terri's guardian ad litem. Looks like Greer and that gang like to keep things in their hands.

Haven't you heard? FR is highly addictive, LOL! I am running on sheer fumes, gonna conk out soon.
Seriously, I've been fascinated to see other's posts of feeling compelled to pay attention to Terri's plight, strange that we are all so drawn to this...

I turned her off.
I think Terri's family needs a better lawyer, one with TEETH!

"I imagine a sterile room, and I see Terri in there, the steril lights, cold surroundings, alone, suffering with no way to tell anyone....anyone who would care." That's the real tragedy isn't it? Knowing she's "in there," and that the one person who has the power to help her is working to make certain she stays in there and is never allowed to come out. The prison of her disability is bad enough with having to endure the prison of a living death forced upon her by one who was supposed to love her. I pray that she plays with the angels in her dreams while she waits for her deliverance from the clutches of the evil one.

Does anyone have Felos e-mail?
To: CindyDawg
Greta? She was the only decent one. That was horrifying. Baden was just awful. I can't even begin to sort through the bs he and those lawyers spewed.
That was just awful.

What Joseph Farah meant is that the euthanasia advocates have become more numerous and vocal since the signing of Terri's Law by Governor Bush. Now they are coming out of the woodwork demanding that she be starved and dehydrated again.

Terri's father has said she is starting to respond to him again. If they could get this woman into rehabilitation therapy, she just may make some progress. She might then be able to decide for HERSELF if she wanted to live or die.!! Betcha I know what she'd choose. !!!A judge needs to talk to Terri him/herself!

"But the lawmakers didn't address the case when there is no living will and there is a dispute..."
Well, that's where they erred.
My Living Will states that they can withhold food, but not water. Why I thought of that way back when.... I also have put down "no morphine" even on doctors history charts, is because I remember it was used as an anethestic during a surgery, & I woke up, panicky, couldn't swallow & could barely ask for a wet washcloth in my mouth.

My husband and I keep saying the same thing about the parent's and theri actions. How do you lose Terri. I am not trying to be overly critical, but who is advising them. YOu can not keep people out of a publci hospital. I keep thinking they are expecting the ysytem to work for thm and trusting it will. Where is their lawyer to tell them otherwise?

What on earth....everyone of Greta's guests were against Terri staying alive! Why didn't Greta bring in balance. Does anyone have the article from the American College of Physicians and Surgeons? One of the board members there, a nuerologist, has said that Terri is capable of some rehabilitation!!! This is so wrong not to provide balance! I am sorry Greta failed to do this.
To: meanie monster
exactly. They are losing the PR war by being too timid and nice.
