Good morning -- I did a quick review & search when I got up, but do not see anything substantially different than when I vacated this thread early this AM.
I will call & email to inform. I will continue to pray and seek peace in this awful situation -- we are essentially held hostage by a bully, his lawyer, . . .
I do hope I am wrong. If so . . . well, maybe I can think of something that would get Michael to change his mind -- like raise the funds to send him to that extradition-free tropical locale.
Only thing is, I don't think we could raise enough to also send the lawyers, investigators, judge(s), hospice, etc etc. You get my drift! We'd have to BUY a whole stinkin' island to hold all the bad actors in this drama.

"How do you feel about your life right now: I'm right around where I thought I'd be" Oh yes, every young girl in high school dreams of living in sin with another woman's husband and bearing his children while he spends years trying to have his wife legally murdered so he can marry the mistress. How did the Brothers Grimm ever miss this romantic and idyllic story line?

Hi, Kimmie -- Terri's family is truly wonderful.
Any normal person would feel fortunate to be a part of their family! They have such faith, such LOVE for Terri, lots of memories & stories . . . I am better for having met them.
Best wishes with your sick 'puter -- take care. Watch out for little critters!

I have just finished reading the same laws. Maybe this is the avenue that needs to be taken now that her feeding has been resumed. It states any interested party may request that the guardian be removed. Well, aren't we interested parties? Hmmmmmmmmm
To: Annie03
"Under federal law, the agency is granted strong investigative powers, including examining medical and court-sealed guardian financial records, and its findings of abuse or neglect would be conclusive and pre-emptive of any court or other agency determination" This is good news, and a ray of hope in a desperately twisted situation.

Saw video this morning of Terri being moved back to the hospice. Quite a difference from when she was moved FROM the hospice.
Many cop cars with flashing lights "protecting" the ambulance - from whom?

There was a link posted by Annie03 at post #963. This is a hopeful article. I hadn't seen it before other than to hear some passing remarks that an advocacy agensy for the disabled was looking into possible charges of abuse. If you hadn't seen this, please ping your lists as well. I guess I will have to excerpt it. I believe that the Chicago Tribune is affiliated with the LA Times/Washington Post.

Agency to probe alleged spousal abuse of brain damaged woman
BY MICHAEL MARTINEZ AND PAT KAMPERT
Chicago Tribune
PINELLAS PARK, Fla. - (KRT) - A state protection agency for disabled persons on Wednesday was planning to launch an investigation into alleged spousal abuse against Terri Schiavo, the severely brain damaged woman whose feeding tube was reinserted this week after intervention by the Florida Legislature and Gov. Jeb Bush.
The investigation by the Advocacy Center for Persons with Disabilities, an agency mandated in states and funded by Congress, could play a decisive role in a revived legal battle over who should be the guardian of the 39-year-old Schiavo - her husband or her parents.

"I think he should be disbarred but I'm just an organizm around this place." Careful with that kind of talk FV. Felos might "discern" from the voices in his head that you are crying out to be allowed to die.....with dignity, of course.

Hehehehehe! She is pathetic. I was reading posts about how Catholic she is and she wants to get married in the Church, blah, blah, blah. I am Catholic and I'll tell you, she not only shouldn't get married in the Church, but her soul would probably be better off if she raised those kids on her own and not with him. She didn't have to sleep with him and start having his kids. In a nutshell, you can see where her morality lies and what kind of family she comes from.

The woman who was using her best imitation of Rev. martin Luther King Jr. , to say that she was pissed , she had to be there in the "dead of night, and had gotten too many e-mail messages."
What a disgrace to the state of Florida. I hope you are going to pass the word that she needs to go. Who is she the queen? She has competiton from Queen Hill.

I would feel that it is worth a try. Of course, I don't know any lawyers in Florida to ask. The law specifically states "any interested parties". Maybe a group of people, with no claim whatsoever in the outcome of this PARTICULAR case but with an interest in people with disabilities as a whole, you know, a neutral people, petitioning the courts with information of conflict of interests on MS part. You couldn't do it as the "save Terri Brigade" but maybe as "Concerned for Persons with disabilities" group it would work??? Isn't ANYTHING worth a try?? Maybe this area of law is where the focus needs to be in this case now.

"Felos added it was "an absolute horrible tragedy for Terri Schiavo, literally being abducted from her deathbed and her death process." The gall of that man is astonishing and the convoluted reasoning of this scum-sucking bottom-feeder defies description. Yeah, there is a horrible tragedy going on right now d__kh__d, but it is that those responsible for Terri's care want to kill her while the ones who love her and want to protect her and give her the best rehabilitation possible are denied access to her, except for the carefully scripted short supervised visits allowed by her sadistic HINO to play to the media how compassionate he is. < /unladylike rant >

trying to have his wife legally murdered so he can marry the mistress. Now, now, don't be nasty. Obviously he intends an act of mercy---- like putting down a pet dog. Get rid of the burden so he can move on. What a guy!

This article states that this agency has very powerful investigative powers...That sounds reassuring...
To: PleaseNoMore
"That sounds reassuring" Yes it does. Perhaps it is this agency we should be writing to with some of the information WE have discovered as we've discussed this case.
