Google "Nobel Prize nominee" -- there are an awful lot of mentions of these for them all to be phony. All that is required to be nominated for a Nobel Prize is that one person with some particular qualification in some particular field (varies by prize type) nominate someone.
It should impart perhaps a little more prestige than being nominated for the Florida Recall Governor's race, but not much.

While I have no particular care for Mr. Schiavo's current bootycall....I do hope she hasn't signed a Living Will with Mr. Schiavo as her witness. That might be a terrible choice for her to have made.

This is a "please check your FReepmail" bump! ;-)

And now the family can take her OUTSIDE into the sunshine! She can listen to the birds chirp. She can squint in the sunlight. She can smell the flowers.Yes, poor soul. She can enjoy life again now. How kind you are to remind me of this! Thank you. I have some people praying for her to make it ok through the night. May God protect her and keep her safe tonight!

GRECCOGIRL RESPONDED TO JORGE: "My Mom fell to 81 lbs from an illness a year and half ago. She looked god awful, the tops of her thighs weren't six inches across. She couldn't speak, was almost blind, and wore diapers. ANY NUMBER OF DOCTORS would have said "pull the plug" (she was on a feeding tube). She's 84 you see. Well, today she sat outside in the sun with my husband and ate four krystals, fries and a coke. She called me at work and sang "happy birthday" to me twice. She weights 140 lbs. Getting the picture?"
BINGO!!!

The proble is that the medical community is increasingly blurring the line between "terminally ill" and "life impaired". Terminally ill is a strawman in this debate.

terri's parents have told him,he could move on and they would care for her...but theres a small matter of a million dollars that he would lose if he divorced terri..which is why he wants her dead,so he can get on with his life and enjoy all that money....

I honestly think there is a possibility of Terri receiving a Lethal dose of Morphine tonight.!! Hundreds shoud be storming the place is the Governor lets it ride any longer. I know he's done his part, NOW he must get tough!!

Since Schiavo won't be getting his hands on Terri's medical trust fund proceeds any time soon, he's pissed off about how he's going to pay for the legal bills he's mounted. What trust fund? There's only $50K left, so Michael claims.
Methinks his problem isn't that he won't be getting his hands on Terri's trust fund, but rather that he has gotten his hands on Terri's trust fund.

The fact is being feed through a feeding tube hooked up to a machine is artificial. By definition these things are artificialHow many tooth fillings do you have? Huh? One, two, half a dozen, more? They're artificial too. Hmm, let's think about that for a moment... if they weren't put in, the teeth would become even more decayed and infected. That infection would get into your blood stream and eventually kill you. Now would you like to continue having that artificial dental work in your mouth or would you like to die. Your choice. Oh, better write that down pronto (without those artificial sighting tools aka glasses/contacts) so your family will know your wishes. Felos would be glad to draft it for you.

Uh, DMWT, she did not say that he was disqualified from posting.
Here's what she said...
No, our positions are not weak, but like I said in my previous post: For those who believe, no explanation is necessary. For those who don't, none will suffice. Your problem is that you didn't do real research on this before you starte posting. For those of us seasoned with posting, knowing the FACTS, we find having to explain against your ignorant comments and analysis tiring. I have kids who listen better than you.
There have been many reasoned posts to Jorge that challenge and rebut his thesis. He elects to not answer those, instead answering many of the people who are frustrated with him and who, admittedly are lashing out.
I did not see as much personal attack in her message as I did frustration. I would not (having been on the forum for quite a few years) classify that particular post as a personal attack...but I'm not a moderator either.
Just my opinion.
BTW, what questions are you looking for reeasonable answers to as regards Terri?
To: fishbabe
Yes I know. More motive and conflict of interest that the judge refused to look at.
To: Don'tMessWithTexas
Look pal, I've been here a long time and I've yet to even have a post pulled. If you have something to add to the debate, add it. If you want to play hall monitor, do it elsewhere.

Thanks, RC,
BACK AT THE HOME OFFICE: Governor Jeb Bush is Terri's guardian for now. I saw her on tv tonight when the ambulance arrived at Morton Plant Hospital. Terri had guardian angels all over the place, even at MPH.
I saw Atty Felos arguing tonight that what the legislature did by letting Terri live was a BIG BROTHER move. Can you believe it? So how is saving somebody's life Big Brother?
There is one more hurdle that we have to wait on. Judge Baird gave Felos (hubby's atty) five days to submit a Brief that Baird will review. However, we couldn't find any dirt on Baird on the laptop at The Vigil Command Center. THERE WERE FREEPERS MANNING THE COMMAND CENTER. THERE WERE FREEPERS covering print, radio and tv interviews. We have a list of all the freepers somewhere here. Terri has about a hundred threads at present.
I'll try to get my pictures up on a brand new thread asap. Today was like being in Oz and trying to get back to Kansas. "There's no place like home, Judge Greer." Tomorrow will be my first day at home since last Tuesday. It feels weird to be inside.
It's highly unlikely Judge Baird would stop Jeb Bush's Executive Order and the legislature's historic vote to save Terri's life. IF THAT GOD, FORBID HAPPENED, WE WOULD JUST SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT AGAIN like we just did in the past two months. What an effort!!!!! It could be a movie. Please continue to pray for Terri and watch for updates on Felos' stupid upcoming Brief.

It is a miracle. We cared for this poor defensless soul.It was as simple as following Christ's commands and showing His love to the "least of these" and then seeing Him answer our prayers. You are right.

Isn't there a media celeb medical "ethicist" from Harvard(?) who has advocated executing infants under the age of six months who show signs of "imperfection"?
