UPDATE FROM TERRI'S VIGIL SITE ON LOCATION... by floriduh voter and drk4the1: TERRI IS NOT BEING RE-HYDRATED AT MORTON PLANT HOSPITAL IN CLEARWATER, FL. The Governor's Office is under the impression and reporting that the procedure started at 7:07 pm. While it's being reported to the family attorney that she is not going to receive anything. A telephonic hearing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm est with Judge Douglas Baird re: Michael Schiavo's suit against Gov. Bush and his executive order of today. Additionally, Michael S. is disputing his removal as Terri's legal guardian. Anything helpful appreciated. Contact floriduh voter or the drk screen name. We are outside fighting the mosquitoes. H E L P !!!!!

That is good news! Naturally they will never agree to a guardian since Sicko Schiavo will never give it up so the court will end up appointing one. Still, this means that Schiavo is one step closer to the door! Praise God!

The D&C they did to me was done under general anesthesia. They told me after that I would have cramping and bleed like a normal period, but I only bled and had no cramps. My hormone levels crashed though and I was finally able to eat again. I was sicker through that than I was with the pregnancies of my son and daughter. I have been pregnant 5 times but miscarried the first 3 of those. (none of the miscarried pregnancies even got to the point of having a heartbeat though)

I was just watching ABC news (barf) anyway, basically they said you all pick out a guardian and if you can't agree I will.

A "doctor" from Cornell said that looks are decieving and that even though Terri looks like she is reponding she is actually brain dead. Thought I would puke. They were showing a picture of Terri SMILING.

Pictures of the B*****d were all over the screen. He won't be welcome anywhere.

One reason it is probably being reported as such is because legally that is what the court determined. If the press corps says any different, they could be up for a lawsuit for libel or something stupid like that. Never mind that millions of people watching all have the same idea. I agree that she is brain damaged. How much? I don't know. No one really knows since Schiavo has restricted her care to getting nothing.

Yes. I am glad they are showing pictures of him. He will be a pariah wherever he moves. If he moved near me, I would never let him come near my family.

Hey, someone had the place where he worked. I would like that number again. I just wanted to call them and tell them that if I ever had the misfortune to end up there, I don't want that SOB touching me or another person in my family.

Wow. I had not heard the story of your daughter either. What an amazing miracle. Will she ever get to be off the feeding tube? What is her prognosis at this point in time? Forgive my ignorance and I hope I am not being insensitive to ask. I'm not very familiar with the advances that have been made in recent years with heart transplants.

Michael Moore can play the part of the judge who denies and refuses to look at the facts! He was born for that!

Michael Schiavo made a statement yesterday and the Schindler family reponded to Michael's statement. Does anyone have a copy of the statements?

Michael was attempting to sound like the husband only looking out for his wife's wishes and the Schindler family's statement refuted Michael's attempts to sound like a compassionate and loving husband.

Please provide me with a link and/or post the statements from both parties.

Welcome to Free Republic. An excellent post. I think many of us are in it until we know that all is being done that can be done, not only for Terri and others like her, but to see those brought to justice who are obviously guilty of crimes. It is mainly a matter of outlining and proving their crimes and then urging those to action who can hold them accountable.

I definitely count myself lucky having a daughter and son with no problems whatsover save delivery (both via c-section, although #2 was elective). I can imagine that would get really discouraging! My sister had a couple of miscarriages before her children, and I know it was pretty tough on her at the time.

So we can assume that you've reviewed all the court and medical documents, read transcripts and listened to every taped hearing that Greer and every reviewing judge has looked at or listened to? Wow - that is a lot of effort, and kudos to you on all that diligence in getting all those pleadings, transcripts, tapes and orders.

Also, the judge in today's GAL proceedings gave the attorneys for both sides 5 days to agree upon a guardian and name someone or he would appoint one.

Five days? Five days! Terri has to put up with Michael as guardian for FIVE MORE DAYS?!! 'Cause you know he will NEVER agree to someone that they would agree on. What a stupid judge! This case has been litigated for all these years, and now the judge, instead of making an appointment himself, is now telling the two parties to try to agree on something. What makes this judge think that 5 more days will solve anything?! I thought nothing could surprise me any more in this case, but this does. Shaking my head in disbelief.
