UPDATE FROM TERRI'S VIGIL SITE ON LOCATION... by floriduh voter and drk4the1: TERRI IS NOT BEING RE-HYDRATED AT MORTON PLANT HOSPITAL IN CLEARWATER, FL. The Governor's Office is under the impression and reporting that the procedure started at 7:07 pm. While it's being reported to the family attorney that she is not going to receive anything. A telephonic hearing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm est with Judge Douglas Baird re: Michael Schiavo's suit against Gov. Bush and his executive order of today. Additionally, Michael S. is disputing his removal as Terri's legal guardian. Anything helpful appreciated. Contact floriduh voter or the drk screen name. We are outside fighting the mosquitoes. H E L P !!!!!

I watched CNN a bit ago and it is reported that Michael IS allowing Terri's parents to visit with her. Also, the judge in today's GAL proceedings gave the attorneys for both sides 5 days to agree upon a guardian and name someone or he would appoint one. Both sides have to agree on whoever is selected. In case ya didn't know. :0)

They'll end up having to appoint one. I don't see the HINO agreeing to anyone the parents would agree to. It sounds fair though for normal circumstances.

That is my point exactly. Most people who are GAL's would normally defer to the professional, medical person to make the determination. Also, the medical people who have sided with Schiavo and his lawyer are listening to Schiavo and reading some past medical reports. We already know that information was faulty since several nurses and other professionals connected to this case stated in affidavits that her chart were "sanitized" by Schiavo or someone he had working with him. Some gave detailed notes to help her. They were removed from her records. Can you imagine having your medical records tampered with and if you live or died depended on what was in them?

I hope he will be removed as guardian today. I heard there is supposed to be some kind of hearing. I can't get confirmation. Terri's website isn't updated regularly with that kind of information. I am sure it would be hard to keep up. I don't blame them. I just want to see him get booted out of the picture and for her to start received the kind of care she should have been getting all along. I can't tell you how frustrated I am trying to tell people I know who are too lazy to do the research on this case saying things like "I wouldn't want to be on life support", "they should just pull the plug". I have to practically yell at them that she was NEVER on life support and there was NEVER a plug to pull.

No, I hadn't heard that. Thanks. I still don't like it. I'd feel a lot better if they'd get Mikey out of the mix altogether. It is abundantly evident that all he wants is rid of Terri.

The Gov. of Florida, as stated in his order has said that a licensed physician should oversee her care. If you are referring to him stopping her from being murdered, I won't waste my time explaining to you.

Something isn't right here, if she is NOT in a vegetative state then why isn't the media showing pictures of her?

The media here is showing limited footage of her. The videos at www.terrisfight.org have been shown.( well at least some of them!) There were other videos of Terri trying to get out of a gerry chair when told she may die. THOSE VIDEOS have been SEALED SO FAR by the court. THERE are ENOUGH VIDEOS AND AUDIO CLIPS AVAILABLE ON her website that will convince ANYONE that she is NOT in a veggie state!!!!

Look at the music video and BIG EYES......GRRRRRR makes me mad even to think of what is happening here. I have a DISABLED SON!!!!!!

Possibly- the D&E is more thorough, and it may be partially physician preference. "Stuff" left behind can cause problems- that girl who died after using RU-486 had an infection from that I believe. I tell you what, the D&E lite in the office was one of the most painful experiences I've ever had. My 2nd husband, bless his heart, stood by and let me crush his hand while witnessing the ghastly procedure. 2nd time around being asleep was much better, although since I had gotten sonogram pics of the baby a few days before it's heart stopped, it was much harder dealing with the loss.

Prayer Warriors ~

This latest event is filled with the greatest anxiety ~ Michael is a nurse, with access to his wife, and it's common knowledge that he wants her dead.

Heavenly Father, You are there where we cannot be ~ with Terri ~ and You can do what we cannot ~ protect her from further harm. Put a hedge around her and her medical care, that further harm would not come near this dear child. In the Name of Jesus, we rebuke satan and his minions and cast them away from her presence. May those who care for Terri be of like faith, and alert, and would sound the alarm at the first hint of any danger.

Lord, make us bold in our efforts on behalf of this mother's child. Direct us in the way in which You would have us go ~ if a Vigil is needed to shed light on Terri's continuing struggle, send those who will stand vigil. If the phones need to be used, or the e-mails sent, our hands are willing. Thank You for showing us that prayer is always needed ~ keep us faithful unto that task, that by Your Grace, Terri will regain and be reunited with her parents, to Your honor and glory, and in the Name of Jesus, Amen ...
