"Bob Marshall - major pro-life guy, I think he's a State Delegate. "

Does anyone have his email address? I think he deserves a thank you email too if he was the one that got the hospital to get to work!

Ask yourself this question...if you were told you were going to be in a vegetable state starting tomorrow...for at least 10 years...would you really like to 'live' in that state?

I vote YES!!! I personally have a son who is severely handicapped( age 25). I would not want to be kept on a respirator to keep my heart going, when all other funtions have shut down. BUT, and this is a BIG BUT!! we have a woman, who BREATHES on her own, SMILES, trys to TALK, LAUGHS, all she needs is FED.....HEY. She is productive. WHO is to say she is not BLESSING THE SOCKS off of others?? She sure has inspired ME with her smiles. Don't know about anyone else. I VOTE YES!!!

Judge Greer DENIED Felos' injunction last night. Judge Greer is in enough hot water so he ruled against hubby's attorney.

Then Judge Baird ordered the parties to file Briefs.

The hearing today in my estimation is also before Judge Baird. Pls see tag line. If anything new happens, that's the ticket.

Jesus is pro-life.

Look at His life on earth. Most would have walked away from Lazareth's tomb. But in Jesus's case...Lazareth walked away from Lazareth's tomb. Lazareth had more problems than a coma. He was dead.

I think God did this to show not only His mercy and love...but His core regard for life.

Did you get his name? I saw him and kept trying to get it, but I missed it. I heard he was from Georgetown (figures). He was evil! Oh, I feel sorry for him if he meets Our Lord unrepentant of what he did on national TV. He may even be excommunicated ipso-facto!

Hubby's attorney has threatened the medical community with malpractice lawsuits and also "battery" charges. This is all public knowledge per press conferences that I witnessed at the Vigil last night or as reported at noontime today est. (wfla 970 radio today)

Just curious, but if the marriage were to be annuled (meaning, to be as if it never were, as I understand it) wouldn't that automatically bar Michael Schiavo from ANY "legal" authority in the case whatsoever?

I think both parties in the marriage have to be in agreement to get an annulment (SP).

Felos has threatened everyone in the medical community with lawsuits. This is his big plan imo and it's being ruined by hundreds of thousands of people who recognize injustice when they saw it.

He has said on TV that the legislature acted like "Big Brother" and also that this is a "tragedy".

Under the circumstances it seems that if a different guardian were to be appointed that that guardian might, by proxy, have the authority to file for an annulment. I am not too familiar with the laws on this, but based on earlier comments of others, I was under the impression that it could be filed by one party.

CLEARWATER, Fla., Oct. 22 — One of the nation’s longest and most bitter right-to-die battles is headed for further legal confrontation, as attorneys for the husband of a comatose Florida woman prepare to appeal Gov. Jeb Bush’s order that his wife’s feeding tube be reconnected. An attorney for the woman’s husband charged Wednesday that Terri Schiavo was exhibiting signs of organ failure when hospital workers began reintroducing fluids into her system after a week without food or water, and said the governor’s order could just make her suffer more before dying.

thanks!
I remember back in the early 80's, a young woman coming to our church to speak about what was going on in the medical schools. She was an intern under a doctor at a Dallas hospital that had the unofficial title placed on him by the students "Funeral-Home-Placement Dr. xx" He taught them how to take the potassium out of IV's of patients who were comatose and had been there too long, thus leaving no evidence of what they had done after the patients had died. She said all the other interns really liked him!

"He's still her heir, I think, unless a court changes that."

But if it were to be determined that either her "death" were not an accident or that there was criminal intent or motive, as has been suggested regarding the trust fund, wouldn't that nullify any benefit he might stand to gain as beneficiary of her life insurance policy? And if that was the case, would there be a sedondary beneficiary, or would the money be forfeited altogether?
