If someone will post one of those clickable links that will pop up an email without me having to copy/paste each one seperately, I'll send them as much background info as they would possibly need regarding Terri's whole case. It includes the affidavits made by those nurses that showed what scum Mr Schiavo really is.

(it is posted here http://webpages.charter.net/honeygrl/terri.txt for those interest) pc93 compiled it

"I have a candle lit for her again tonite and will be praying for Christ's intervention to continue on her part."

Thank your for all your prayers, and all you have done for Terri.

My personal stand has always been to follow the rules, protect the justice system to the letter. Making excuses, but this feels to me to be the exception.

If they REALLY wanted to save her - the senate would be hearing this bill NOW.

I feel the same. Tonight was too late and tomorrow is something Terri doesn't have. Her system is shutting down now, yesterday, three days ago. I'm thankful jeb got off his duff and I'm thankful the House passed it but it won't save Terri. Hopefully, it has brought light to her plight and justice will prevail. Justice to others in such straits and an awakening of the public of how twisted the government and courts can be, and that we all need to have our wishes on paper. Hopefully, the media will now get on the bandwagon, as they should have been from the beginning, and let the public know the whole truth not some spittle the "ex" is spewing.

Thanks to those who posted the link to the live feed. I finally got on and the family listened. Fully listened. I'd told Mr. M about this days ago but he was of the opinion Greer had the final say and that was that - he's now seen the light. I began explaining the case quickly to the kids so I could listen to the House but before I could express my opinion they jumped right in and came up with every argument these boards have had over the past week. They're in bed now so I can get teary eyed that they are so quick to grasp the obvious and are so compassionate to Terri's situation and can see the horror of what Greer and "ex" are doing. They cheered the good guys and booed the bozos of the House but wanted so much for them to shut up and get the tube put back. Prayers are going out to Terri from my family and hoping against the odds and what we know in our hearts but that Terri has not fought in vain.

This speaker also supports the bill....there are many more speakers in support...one just mentioned giving Terri...15 more days...can anyone confirm this is in the bill?

Next Terri needs legislation to deal with guardianship and judicial issues. Doesn't need to be passed instantly--something good that takes a five days would be better than something bad that takes two, but clearly there is something wrong when a judge declares that there is no conflict of interest regarding a ward and a man who simultaneously stands to inherit a lot of money upon her death, and seeks to hasten that death.

Also, I know I'm dreaming, but I'd love to see J____ G_____ G____ impeached for, among other things, his refusal to appoint a guardian ad litem for Terri and allowing Michael Schiavo to take money from her trust fund without filing required reports.

I hope Mr Schiavo is up all night pacing the floor and so sick with worry over this passing that he is too nauseas to eat.

I'm more worried about the next few hours than I had been before. Desperate people do desperate things when cornered. He's cornered with little chance of escaping. Terri's family, I hope you have someone by her side at every moment. I would even be leary of any medication the staff tries to give her for "comfort". Of course the family knows more than we do of her condition but it's been nagging me for days that he or someone will do something to speed things up and get her cremated.

Speaking of the family, we need an update on how Terri is doing right now.

Indeed. There is an absolute unconditional 48-hour minimum wait before cremation, but that doesn't mean he'd wait that long.

She has already been receiving high amounts of morphine injections. Her odds of coming out of this aren't good medically.

Here's the text of the bill. It gives a 15-day stay. That's all.

Folks, we're witnessing a real, live struggle between good and evil this very moment.

I am waaayyy behind on what has transpired in the past few hours, but sounds to me like your quote above is on the mark. What an amazing night.

Thank you, Father God, for hearing our prayers. If it be Your will, we ask for a miracle for Terri -- sustain her by Your hand until we can get sustenance to her. If this is not Your will, we ask that an autopsy be required. We also thank You for giving us a victory against the proponents of the culture of death. Thank You, Adonai, thank You in His precious name!!

YOu know what? If God takes her, I frankly hope it will be tonight before the Senate can finish up this "CYA" bill and that is all I believe this bill was intended for in the first place. If they had wanted to save that woman, they would have done this when Jeb first started his hand-wringing and whining last week. That the Senate won't even bother to look at it today seals my opinion.

Had these pigs been voting themselves a raise now, they would have been at it all night and then some. With few exceptions, this has been nothing but a CYA manuver.
