TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.
The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.
Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

I don't how we can keep diddling on this. It will the Tuesday night at the earliest before the nutrition is restored, and Schiavo knows it is now too late to save her! Why didn't the Senate stay in session? Bush should act now in an "emergency" based on the likelihood of what the legislature may do. Anything else is too little, too late.

Does that mean it passed?! What happens now???

I have a candle lit for her again tonite and will be praying for Christ's intervention to continue on her part.

Senate votes on it tomorrow (hopefully, Terri will stay strong)

=======Many have already been killed against their will, and there are probably many going through what Terri is going through right now
Too true ...
The "how many times" woman alluded to just that fact.
Thanks for the headsup.

THANK GOD! (Now we just have to pray for her to make it long enough for the senate to get their act together!)

Yes...Republicans control the Senate also.
We must all pray that Terri can hang on for another day.
We have all seen what pressure from all the emails & calls have accomplished tonight.

(Why is it illegal to starve an animal but not a human being?)
To: honeygrl
No, they're going to diddle away until she is either too far to bring back, which may be already, or dead. Effing politicans make me sick.

When can she eat? Tommorrow night?

You know, we've been on such a roller coaster ride with these yahoos that I don't even know what to think anymore and am almost too afraid to get any hopes up for Terri. The fact that those senate b*stards are at their various mansions and parties while that poor woman suffers thru yet another 24 hrs possibly just makes me physically sick. I am going to have to go to bed right now because I am so upset.
To: sfRummygirl
Yes... please pray that it passes :)
To: PeyersPatches
I am feeling the same confusion and fear. I am crying, but also numb.
