TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.
The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.
Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

I really am getting confused. Is she gonna be taken out of that hospice? Does her IDIOT HUSBAND and his lawyer have any power?

I would hope that Felos is tightening his own noose. If any harm comes to Terri I have no doubt he will be hunted down and punished by the powers that be. I'm still waiting for any updates but the situation seemed a bit uncertain and Terri needs to get stabilized. If they are preventing this we have to keep praying that she does get stabilized with IV, etc.

I would hope that he will not be considered a "husband" much longer.

I believe that Felos thinks a bit more highly of himself than he ought to think and that it is time for him to be taken down a peg or 2. Nobody can tell me at this poiint that this dirtbag lawyer doesn't have a big stake in getting this poor woman dead.

Hi Magnolia! Nope, no bush-beating here, whether it's lack of euphemistic speech or talking down the President. LOL
Really though, loose, subjective justifications as "it's what she wants" or "she asked for it" really get me riled. Can you tell? MS is just looking for a fuzzy-logic "happy fuzzy" justification that will make him sleep better at night next to his mistress after driving home in Terri's Mercedes. I consider it Terri's Mercedes since it's her money to begin with. The whole situation makes me so mad I could spit nails and has since my sister told me about it. Even my brother, an LPN/EMT, who is going to school to be an RN, agrees that starvation is cruel, inhumane, and illegal, and there is no way that she should be considered comatose, braindead, etc. and he's pretty pragmatic about the health system. He said in his opinion there's no way that euthanasia or starvation would be considered justifiable in this case and that if it takes 2 weeks for a person to starve and dehydrate to death, the person wasn't "dead enough to die" like that. The cause on the death certificate certainly couldn't read "natural causes" if a person was killed via starvation. If it's not natural causes, then what is it? Not suicide, since Terri hasn't killed herself, so that leaves homicide.
I hope that Monsieur Sh!%head ends up in prison with some very very slippery soap. He won't die, but it would make him wish he had. But then, the prisoners could say, "He really wanted it" and really, how can he object to that?
I'm glad you love my straight talk! I have plenty of it!

Just got this email reply from one of the house that voted against Terri's Bill:
Tracy, this was gut wrenching decision. I do not lack heart. God is final judge. You cannot judge my heart for you do not know me and we've never met. You don't know whether I am kind hearted person, you don't know if I'm a Christian, you don't know anything about me. Judge not lest ye be judged. Thanks for your e-mail of concern.

Subject: Terri's bill after the fact
I know you will be getting many emails, so I will keep my short.
Your lack of heart will not be forgotten. God will remember, and so will the voters. I can only be comforted that there were too few of you to stop the bill and Terri will now be saved.

To: pc93
Sounds as if Felos is defying Jeb's stay, and demanding that other medical professionals deny today's legislation, as well. He promises them there will be no legal ramifications for defying the legislation, so they can go ahead in clear conscience (bwaaaa haaaaaa haaaaa!) proceed with killing Terri.

There can be no repercussions held to the ones who follow the Gov's orders. >>>In other words; the other way around. At least that is my understanding of the Bill.

And finally, the first true characterisation I have heard from the media, Brokaw correctly called Terri a severly brain damaged woman tonight in his coverage!
Not comatose
Not PVS
BRAIN DAMAGED.
The media just might want to "put some ice" on all their previous characterisations of Terri Schiavo.

It appears that Felos and Michael are still playing games with Terri's life. She needs our prayers. I am trying to get any updates.
