He still has had no response from FL. I don't know the details; but his email last night said he is taking this up with the Catholic Arch Diocese.

Anyone know this Hospice's track record? Do they have a history of patients dying before medically expected?

Good question. Yesterday I was doing a search on the terms "Suncoast Hospice" and "cremation." (or was it "crematory"?)

A common the result was a newspaper obituary, which mentioned that the deceased was cremated AND that the family requested donations be made to Florida Suncoast in the name of the deceased.

It has to be mentioned that some of the patients that Suncoast cared for spent their last days with their families, at home.

I should think, since a claim of abuse has been filed by Klayman, an autopsy would be performed

On second thought, maybe a family suit against Michael or the Hospice might be more likely to trigger an autopsy, to see if the claims are valid. (I'm no lawyer)

backhoe, I'm so glad you joined FR Forum. You have been and always will remain an inspiration.

I'm so ill prepared to express my outrage over this violation of a woman's right to live. I thought in this day and age a woman was not to be treated as a slave or chattel to her husband, especially in the fight for life.

President Bush liberated Afghani's from the Taliban. He liberated Iraqi's from the brutal depotic dictator, Saddam, but he does nothing to liberate this poor innocent woman from execution?

I am so distressed and appalled to think that this great nation, a nation created under the first and primary foundation that God gives us Freedom and no man can take it away. Terri's Freedom to live has been ripped from her by her husband and a black robed judge. Her only crime: brain damage.

Lady Liberty is indeed crying. Her beacon is dimming. She has been banned from sheltering the weak and infirmed. The old and handicapped.

May God continue to Bless this Great Nation, but I wonder if He will even listen to our cries anymore?

I close in tears as I cannot bear to see this happenning to our countrymen and women. As I could not bear to see little Elian Gonzalez torn from freedom.

Ok. Sorry. Yes she is conscious but Jeb needs to do something straightaway as she has gone without food or water since Oct. 18 at 8AM.

Jeb has the duty to uphold the laws of Florida. He has been notified that a murder is taking place in his state on his watch, to a defensless diabled person. She is being starved and dehydrated against her will, upon the false testimony that she is brain dead and wants to die. She is not either.

That wasn't videotaped I don't think. Her father just told about it during an interview if I recall correctly. The only videotapes they've got are when they were able to sneak camcorders in with them.
