Yep, Marlins are going to whoop the Yankees. I can't wait for about 1 week from now, as all the disbelieving Yankees get their turn to cry a river...

Be honest. Did you have a sense that something like this was going to happen, even when you guys had a four run lead?

Oh yes. You can see it in my posts. Nothing for granted. Yankees can be explosive, and complacency costs games.

No. Marlins in six.

They play as a team. Like the poster above said: no Billygoat, no Bambino, no half a billion dollar payroll. They have been behind and have come back so many times that they will not be intimidated by the Yankees.

Watch. The national media will treat the Marlins as severe underdogs.

Big freaking mistake. There is something about these Fish. Marlins in six.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Wake up, game over!

Fell asleep in the recliner again, did ya?

I missed most of the good part of the game. Fell asleep on the couch in the 7th inning, woke up, focused my eyes, and watched Boone smack the homer. Wow. Sox were winning when I conked out.

For the whole series, Yankees and Red Sox scored the exact same number of runs- 24- 24.

I just spent the last 10 minutes running around my NY apartment.... I physically rose out of my wheelchair and went crazy, ran around for 10 minutes- God must be a Yankee fan, he "temporarily healed me" so I could do that :) lol

The real scapegoat should be whoever came up with that absolutely idiotic Cowboy crap.

There's only one Cowboy team, and they play here in Dallas.

I don't see the Yanks losing with their pitching and the home advantage.

Beckett of the Marlins probably can't pitch until Game 3 because he did 3-4 innings last night. Rest of Marlins starters have been unimpressive.

Games in NY have DH, Marlins don't have a good DH candidate that I can think of, not to compare to the possibilities NY has.

Still rooting for Marlins to pull off the miracle, if for no other reason than to remind Cincy fans what an idiot move Reds management made not renewing his contract 3 years ago (over couple hundred thou, or the difference between a 1- or 2-year contract, that's how stupid it was).

My money is on the Fish to win it. They just seem to have that team of destiny look about them.

Yep, All the Skankee Pitchers will be tired and burnt out while the Marlin pitchers are well rested. As long as they don't go with Bubba from Forest Gump they should win it in 4 or 5
