And there is still not a sole alive who can say they saw the Red Sox win a World Series.

Those little town blues, can make you bitter, eh?

Amazing, isn't it? A couple of days ago this could have been Cubs v. Sox. Turned out to be Marlins v. Yankees.

I'll see baseball again next year.

Yeah a big loser in all of this is Fox, A Sox/Cubs series would have set all time viewing records now a Skankee/Marlins series will be towards the bottom.

Yeah sending a familygram (sorta like a telegram but 50 word limit) to my husband now. Not sure when he'll get it but at least by the time they hit port they'll know what's up.

At least the Sox don't have a "fan" and an ump to blame.

Our boys squeaked by in this series. Torre needs to get some middle relief. Jeter was right when he told Bret Boone that eventually the ghost of Ruth will show up.

Whose curse is worse?

Well, that's exactly what I'm talking about. A winner doesn't believe in silly things like that. A good team that believes it is cursed is just a good team that doesn't believe it can win, hasn't learned how to win. It's a millstone they tie around their own necks- the curse business is nonsense. Look at the Marlins and the difference a manager made. The Marlins believe they can win ball games and they do, they have.

Wait until George goes into a dugout and buys a player during a game. heheh

Now for 400 face you too can go see the Yankees,,, I won't watch another game again for a long time. This is not a team, it's a collection of highend, high priced players.

Torre's probably the best manager I've ever watched...

Torre's the luckiest manager to ever warm a bench. He sit's there while the machine is on auto-pilot.

BREAKING:
The Boston Red Sox of MLB has been sold to the South Florida Shuffleboard League in hopes of winning a championship.
Pedro Martinez was quoted as saying "Hopefully my ego will not be too big to fit on the shuffleboard court. They are much smaller than stadiums...
