Oh, you mean Bucky F***in' Dent? :)

Actually, if you listened to or saw the game on October 2, 1978 you would realize that Bucky is his middle name. His full name is WhoTheF***Is Bucky Dent.

Game of the CENTURY

Game 6 of the 2002 World Series was the "Game of the Century"

I won't be able to say this very much longer, so...

Anaheim Angels
2002 World Champs

They also showed a photo of the grounds crew painting the World Series logo onto grass behind home plate in Fenway. Can anyone say "Bernie Mac"?

Jeez, like we haven't seen that enough. Or the Bucky Dent homer. I hope we create some similar memories for the Yankees tonight. Go Sox!!!

Good place for those of you who don't have teevee or RAY-DEE-OH sets nearby, but do have internet.

GO SOX! GO Go GO!! What a classic matchup. Wow. Nervous? You betcha. Do I know why? Hell no.

LOL. Bad Karma, I'm telling ya. Just saw on TV that Fenway has already had the World Series emblem applied. Thus it is over, Yankees will win. Bartman is cover, it was actually Bernie Mack who jinxed the Cubs, by leading "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and prematurely changing the wording to 'champs' in game 6. Karma matters, and cowboys everywhere are pissed.

there's a practical reason to support the sox tonight -- if the yankees win the world series will be the traditional rivalry between the new yorkers who elected hillary and the former new yorkers who couldn't poke a hole in a piece of paper in the right place. which, like the 1985 all-missouri series, absolutely nobody will care about beyond a furtive hope for late-season hurricanes and early blizzards.

I wonder...do they put up platic in both locker rooms, then rip it down in the losing team's locker room as soon as the game ends? They must coordinate the champagne, trophy, and t-shirts too.
