I'm taking my "milk" from a bottle of Sam Adams Boston Lager tonight. 2 down 10 to go. More or less, depending on the game and all that.

Dang! Just my luck too. It'll probably be the 7th inning stretch before I realize the game's on.

Geez, the game hasn't started yet and I'm already behind in the thread. BTW, which RedSox fan caused that water main break in the Bronx today?

Aw, that was just that damn Steve Bartman again.

You and Jay Severin. We found out on Monday while in MA and listening to his radio show that he's gone over to the Dark Side ;)

Gonna be a tough Friday morning for both of us... whether #12 is raised in victory, or salted with tears.

Wonder what Bill Lee is doing tonight?

I hope the Yankees lose. ;-)

that is exactly the approach to take with the yankees. it's not about somebody else winning, it's about the yankees losing. which makes the season far more rewarding around here -- you get to root for a different team every few days; slumps don't last; no problems. the goal is for the yankees to stumble and fall in humiliating defeat.

Little known fact: Yankees are 1-3 in game 7's at the 'Stadium'.

Appearently, even a less known fact: The last time the Yankees played a game 7 at The Stadium was 46 years ago.
