Garcia's 2 rbi's have been the difference in this game, and the crowd knows it.

For example, when I lived in Seattle in the early and mid 90s, I pulled for the Mariners. But Lou would pull Randy out all the time! He could have a 2 hitter in the eighth and give up one hit and he would pull him! Cox is no better. I say if the horse runs, ride it!

chanting "JailBird" at Gracia.....LOL!Now that's funny. The radio guys are laughing about it, but they won't say what it is.

The Fenway Faithful are chanting "jailbird" at Garcia. I'll be interested to see what the Creatures have in store for Manny tomorrow.

No one ever looks at the titlebar.

Yeah, you're right about that. These days you see a lot of guys use OPS (slugging percentage + on base average) which I would say comes through James' influence. Actually, before OPS was around, I used a quick and dirty method of figuring a player's offensive value. It's essentially the same as OPS, but you double the on base average and add the slugging percentage. It was quite accurate and could be checked through applying James' Runs Created formula.

If the Sox can score two runs off Rivera, I'll strip naked and run around my block.
