Me too - and it also sometimes makes me regret not having stayed in the business.

I remember one special interest group tried very hard to get me fired from my job at the radio station because I commited, in their mind, the cardinal sin of reporting a story.

Apparently the other broadcast media and the papers generally gave just their side of it. I had the audacity to interview and air comments from the opposition.

I didn't lose my job, in fact it was never in jeopardy, but the sports director nearly lost his when it was discovered he helped instigate the entire movement against me, because he was a member of the special interest group.

What ticks me about the media is their whinning about how they should be reporting the bad stuff in Iraq

I keep screaming at the TV .. How about you report BOTH, the good and the bad .. Heck that seems fair and balanced to me
