Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has seen enough â after the Electoral College met across the country, the top Senator congratulated Joe Biden as President-elect.
President Trump has not conceded the election, and insists he will still prevail.
âI want to congratulate President-elect Joe Biden,â McConnell said on the Senate floor on Tuesday.

McConnell may think it will hurt Senate chances in Georgia.
Mitch believes in whatever fills his wallet or whatever scraps he can collect from the Dem's table like the begging dog his is.
I was willing to give McConnell leeway on a lot of things, so long as he was able to get Amy Coney Barrett confirmed to the Supreme Court.
Unless he has suddenly become a consummate actor, and is putting on an elaborate show to lull “them” into a false sense of security for some as-yet-unknown Hammer of Thor moment, I may have made a dreadful mistake.
patriots in KY. you’ve got to reel this gope, feckless fraudster in. he’s a traitor to his own state.
Yep, Mitch has his own China problem...
The GOP is dead, they just don't know it yet.
Yeah and all the judges that Trump got through for Mitch! And now Mitch and one of the judges he appointed have gone against him! It’s a mockery!
In Breathitt Mitch got 234% more votes than they had registered Republicans Amys votes only represent 17% of registered Dems
They'll still say "Its just Kentucky. Look at voting history"
Well, HISTORY shows 2 counties who NEVER before voted for Mitch gave him BIG wins in 202
Mitch NEVER won in Elliott or Wolfe Kentucky. But in 2020 he won these counties with mind boggling results
WOLFE COUNTY
Mitch Votes=1912
Registered GOP=943
McGrath Votes=945
Registered Dems=4527
ELLIOTT COUNTY
Mitch=1958

Mitch made a deal with the Dems to be a Trustee ?
Reportedly. Sorry these people lie
He’ll feel differently when they put him against the wall. And they might do it even after he retires.
So far, Mo Brooks is the only one who is ready to fight. It appears that everyone else is surrendering. I do not want to be a part of a political party that will not fight. Where is Rand Paul? Where is Ted Cruz? If these guys won’t fight for us in 2020, I refuse to fight for them in 2024.
My tagline says it all...
I’ve always thought that Mitch is a POS for all the knives he’s stuck in the backs of conservatives. Now I realize I was wrong... He’s not just a piece, he’s a whole pile.
The GOP establishment relishes its role as lovable losers.
Trump immediately becomes the presumptive R 2024 nominee the minute he makes the announcement. And he doesn’t have to spend a nickle to get there. He’ll probably do the debates just for fun if there is anybody else running.
Seems McConnell is throwing the Senate to the Dems just like Ryan did with the House.
I’d just reply, you ain’t the boss of me. Better response would be to just smile.
Committees be damned.
Kentucky must be so proud of mitch.
As is Rob Portman here in Ohio.
