The Democrats’ used their convention on August 19 to prod Americans to welcome ill migrants who enter the United States in search of American health care.
The video features an illegal immigrant who brought her disabled daughter into the United States for life-saving health care. Americans saved the child but cannot yet cure the spina bifida that keeps her apparently confined to a wheelchair.
Jessica Sanchez, the grown daughter, told the Democrats’ audience, “I don’t have the right ID, so I can’t get health insurance through the [Obamacare] exchange. I need health insurance. I deserve it, right?”
“Of course you do,” her mother, Sylvia, said in Spanish. “We all deserve hope, a good life, and health.”

Reminds me of all the stories I’ve heard about somone who wins the lottery, and the day after their name is published, long-lost relatives come out of the woodwork (including the Ugandan cousin you didn’t know your German family had), and then what appears to be the world’s biggest 12 year old shows up at their door in a wheelchair, holding a sign that reads ‘I need money for a life-saving operation but can’t afford it’. If I won that much, I’d buy my own zip code and build a moat around it.

I believe that, properly presented in ads, losing a few votes to that type will be greatly balanced out by people responding to:
“This man sneaked across the border illegally yesterday. Starting today he gets full health insurance, welfare money, free housing and a cell phone and plan.////This American citizen worked for fifteen years but suddenly lost his job when his company went under due to Covid and lockdowns. He and his wife can’t afford health care for his two daughters, one of whom needs an operation.”
I know, Dems will say “Solve that by forcing Socialism onto America.”
Others will say “Kick that bum off my tax paid easy street and deport him.”
And I don’t have the right ID, so I can’t vote.

Personally, I am thinking I deserve a new car, retirement with health insurance, after working full time for 45 years, and enough extra money, that I don’t have to stress about spending $50 going out to eat once every 2-3 months.
But I don’t see anyone fighting for my “right” to have these things.
If she came from Mexico, then she already has”free” health care. What she means to say is that Mexico’s “free” health care is so bad, that she refuses to use it. Speaks volumes as to what we can expect once the US has “free” healthcare.
In the end we will have to pay twice for health care. Once for all the free care and another time for the care we ourselves find good enough to access.
Hey Americans, step across the border into Mexico and try that line. I DARE you to say something like that publicly in Mexico.

Mexico is a land full of violent predators who see the gringos as a warm body they can sink their fangs into.
Weaklings with too much cash, ripe to be picked.
They cross illegally with a sense of entitlement - “this is our land” - encouraged by the Mexican government which blames all problems on the US.
So there you go. A few fat Mexicans balefully staring at the camera saying “you owe us gringo!”

What if a group like "Citizens For Fair Shake For the Undocumented" (conservative billionaire's funding for this phony group) puts on TV ads "Thousands of new Latin American friends will be coming through our new open borders soon. We need to fund their health care and housing now. Without our help there will be a humanitarian crisis according to the United Nations. Vote for the candidates who support open immigration."
And ads "You owe it to the people who represent the people who suffered under slavery due to white supremacists. Reparations are the beginning of the answer. Vote for the candidates who have reparations foremost in their plans."
Why did they come here? Oh, because they couldn’t get care at all in the country they came from but even though they were illals they could get it here. So why are they complaining about here? Go home and try to change your own damned country to cater to you wishes.
You do not “deserve” squat.
