Biden sees support from Democrats slip 10 points after debate

The percentage of Democrats who say they would vote for former Vice President Joe Biden if the presidential race were held tomorrow slipped by 10 points after the first primary debate.

According to a Morning Consult/FiveThirtyEight poll of likely Democratic voters released on Friday, 41.5 percent said before the debates they would vote for Biden tomorrow, but 31.5 percent said the same thing after Thursday night's debate.

The apparent decline in support comes after Biden was widely seen as having faltered, including engaging in a stark exchange with Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) over school busing.

Harris herself got a nearly 9 point bump, with 16.6 percent of Democrats saying they would support her after the debate, up from 7.9 percent before the events.

How long before she is yesterdays news?

Since she raised her hand in favor of free health care for illegal immigrants.

I think even Sanders an underling candidate can bring up the college money missing from his wife’s mishap and his being a socialist with 3 expensive houses. I think Tulsi is gonna pull it out. To me, I don’t know maybe because she’s a vet like me but I believe her more than any of the rest.

I doubt he had the 10 points to begin with. Of all the people in the country . . .they come up with this slate of characters. Whoever gets nominated will be the pawn of the person manipulating behind the scenes.

Granted when primaries come to Texas, they are usually over. Without a doubt Trump has my vote in 2020 but when the primary comes here if I can play on Dems, yes I do it for sure.

As I said after watching her performance in senatorial hearings, Kamala Harris is the most dangerous of all the candidates and the most likely choice because she scores high on the intersectionality scoreboard.

For Kamala, the good news is also the bad news. She is ferociously aggressive, competent on defense, obviously intelligent, certainly ruthless. In other words, the bitch is a bitch. The bad news? It is obvious.

In 2016 Donald Trump won the suburban women's vote but the Republicans booted it away in 2018 and it cost the House. Much of the me -too movement, the pussyhats , the rape allegations, the discarding of Bill Clinton, the Harvey Weinstein spasm etc. was contrived to cultivate the women's vote.

But will this nasty female, who will be able to stand up to Donald Trump on the debate stage and who will present an image as a powerful potential Chief Executive and Commander-In-Chief, even with charisma, be so offputting that she alienates the very demographic that the Democrats are counting on?

This factor is not a matter of policy choice, it is purely a matter of emotion, it is reactive. To know how it will play out, you must consult Sigmund Freud-but then he said, "what does a woman want?"

None of that shit is real. It’s just a muti-act production by the Aristocrats. I don’t believe Biden even wants to run. It’s all gaslighting. Every bit of it.

There are several problems for Joe. He’s now seen as part of Obama’s legacy. He’s grown a bit older. And for the party to sell it’s multi-layer politic...they need some angle, which an old white guy can’t provide. The amusing thing is that the middle-class typical Democratic voter (the working class guy)...probably would prefer Joe over the other choices of the party.

Not really, the DNC is the all powerful there. Everybody saw how they rigged it for Hillary against Bernie. Don’t think for a second they wont pull another ringer out at the last moment like Big Mike or Kerry to save the day. I just hope the Bernie bots go bizarre.

I think you nailed it. Biden will clearly drop out soon. They wouldn’t really try to nominate Moochelle would they?

when this clown show comes to Texas, we have an open primary and I’m surely voting for Crazy Bernie.

Well that should be fun but I was really hoping that RINO Cornholio would be facing a Conservative challenger. If so I will definitely be voting in the GOP primary.

If Biden is smart, he’ll stop acting like he’s above it all, and start giving as good as he gets re her getting ahead by sleeping with Willie Brown and her pathological lying.

My favorite comment of Biden’s debate performance came on Neil Cavuto’s show today from the former SNL comedian, Joe Piscopo.

He said Biden reminded him of the dad in the hearing aid ad “I love you dad.....I love you dad....”

Joe lost support after a public appearance that people a really watched because Joe Biden looks, acts, and sounds like an old man. Donald Trump, on the other hand, looks acts and sounds like he is 50.

On a stage full of young whippersnappers walking on his lawn, Joe looks bad. Hillary would make a similar impression. LIzzie will not wear well outside of her base. Nobody cares how Bernie Sanders comes across because crazy people are age!ess, and even among democrats Sanders comes across as crazy.

So Joe Biden can now drop to his natural performance of 1%, then fade away.
