For Kamala, the good news is also the bad news. She is ferociously aggressive, competent on defense, obviously intelligent, certainly ruthless. In other words, the bitch is a bitch. The bad news? It is obvious.
In 2016 Donald Trump won the suburban women's vote but the Republicans booted it away in 2018 and it cost the House. Much of the me -too movement, the pussyhats , the rape allegations, the discarding of Bill Clinton, the Harvey Weinstein spasm etc. was contrived to cultivate the women's vote.
But will this nasty female, who will be able to stand up to Donald Trump on the debate stage and who will present an image as a powerful potential Chief Executive and Commander-In-Chief, even with charisma, be so offputting that she alienates the very demographic that the Democrats are counting on?
This factor is not a matter of policy choice, it is purely a matter of emotion, it is reactive. To know how it will play out, you must consult Sigmund Freud-but then he said, "what does a woman want?"
Pulaski called, they need you back. Kamila Harris will be shut down soon by her record in Calif. Bank it
What makes Kamala so dangerous is the fact that all of the most visible liberal venues have gone in 100% on promoting her candidacy and throwing Biden under the bus. Biden sputtered and seemed senile and confused during the debate, but that was nothing new. Similarly, Kamala was just her typical shrill bitchy self - a "minority" female with a racial and sexual chip on her shoulder the size of Alaska. What changed is the fact that she became a darling to the liberal media and the official candidate of the "woke" grievance politics types.
Biden is too old, too male, and too moderate. Bernie and Warren focus too much on economic issues - "woke" types don't want a class war, they want a race war against whites (from which liberal white millenial college kids and hipsters think they'll be exempt). Now they have their candidate - who combines Obama and Hillary's worst qualities and takes them up a notch.
It's great for rallying the base, but I think and hope that having a blatantly hate-filled harpy will alienate even some Democrats and Independents who may have voted for Clinton or Obama in past elections. The outcome will determine just how far gone >50% of the US electorate has become.
