Biden is making a fundamental mistake with Trump voters -- and it could cost him everything

I’ve always been a fan of Joe Biden. I admire his authorship of the Violence Against Women Act and his longstanding gravitas as a public servant for decades.

I even contributed to the Draft Biden PAC back in 2015 in hopes that the straight talker from Scranton would enter the race for the White House.

I was, indeed, “Ridin’ With Biden” as they say.

I truly believe that 2016 was Joe Biden’s moment to run for president. Yes, he had run unsuccessfully twice before. And, yes, sitting vice presidents are not usually successful in their bid for the top job. But, I saw Joe Biden as the one person who could have taken on Donald Trump four years ago.

Biden had some access to the Obama infrastructure, and more importantly, he had the authenticity to connect with Blue Collar voters in the industrial Midwest. Yet, Biden passed on running for president in 2016, deferring to the perceived inevitability of Hillary Clinton’s nomination.

IIRC, a couple of months back, creepy Joe Biden mentioned the haughty Abrams as a possible VP choice, which she summarily rejected! @staceyabrams on rumors former Vice President Joe Biden was considering her as vice president on his ticket: "I think you don't run for second place."

Meanwhile, Van Jones is gloating that Biden in his announcement video threw out a banana peel that Trump will be sure to slip on--that is, that Trump is defending a traitor. By that Van Jones must have meant Robert E. Lee.

I don't think the country as a whole shares Jones' animus towards one of the finest men the country has produced--certainly a better man than any Democratic politician currently living.

First off, aside from a rather small percentage of the electorate, the majority of American voters were not in favor of a third Obama term.

More importantly, Presidential Election 2016 was about SCOTUS!

Surely you remember Mitch McConnell wisely stated he was invoking "the Biden rule" which kept the departed Justice Scalia's Supreme Court seat OPEN through the 2016 Election by not holding hearings for Obama's nominee, Merrick Garland.

There was no way any Republican, any pro-life voter, the Catholic Church and especially the Christian Right were about to permit any pro-abortion Democrat win the White House.

Outsider Donald John Trump was the perfect candidate for the time. He was a winner and a tireless workhorse of a campaigner. The man literally out-campaigned Hillary on every front. His rallies broke all attendance records almost all, if not all, were televised, including the rallies in prime time.

His crowds LOVED him. Donald Trump is magical in person. I know this for a fact. I've personally met him and talked with him for over 5 minutes. His rallies are something unique and very special.

Without massive voter fraud, President Trump is set to win again in 2020. He's earned a second term. I just hope and devoutly pray he gets the conservative Republican House and Senate which he richly deserves.

As for the Demonic-Rats ... Bernie Sanders likely talked himself out of the nomination by advocating voting rights for the likes of the Boston Bomber!

Then there's all the hopes for Joe Biden. Wait until he has to state his "policies," or answer questions regarding the "new green deal, 3rd term abortion, the crisis at the border." I think "hopes" for Biden are just that, "hopes." He's sorely lacking the energy and charisma of Trump. Biden looks OLD next to POTUS!

Election 2020 will still be about SCOTUS!!
