'Morning Joe' co-host Mika Brzezinski told husband Joe Scarborough a number of Republicans have "reached out" to her to say they are going to support Democratic Mayor Pete Buttigieg for president.
Jon Meacham said a general election between Trump and Buttigieg would be like Archie Bunker facing off against Aaron Sorkin.

These could be Trump supporters who know that Trump will easily be re-nominated, so they want to create a little mischief for the Democrats by boosting the candidacy of someone who would have zero chance in the general election—an openly gay person whose highest accomplishment is to be mayor of a medium-sized city.
And if they’re supporting the 30something gay mayor of South Bend for the presidency of the United States of , they’re not only not Republicans, they’re not mentally stable.
