Some Freeper was asking what time he should get to the event in Houston to ensure getting in. Jokingly I said Sunday 6 P.M. But perhaps I was right.

It is so classy of Trump to give this rally for Ted Cruz when Cruz was so reluctant to endorse Trump during the 2016 campaign.
Here is a humorous Cruz/Trump moment during that campaign. Seems so long ago doesn't it?

Further solidifying the good vibes for Trump and co., one of the president's most vocal detractors, lawyer Michael Avenatti, conceded Sunday he would not be holding the "resistance" rally in Texas he previously said would take place on the same day as Trump's due to a scheduling conflict. That is funny. 8>)

Send these people to the border to repel the invasion.

Mexico can stop this right now. Shoot out the tires of the trucks that move these people. These people are not walking. They are being drive by buses and flatbed trucks. Shoot out the tires somewhere between towns. Then these people will stop. If they fix the tires. You shoot them again. And when the trucks or buses look for gas, deny them fuel.

Bigger than the caravan. And they’re not even getting paid to do this. Imagine that.

This is particularly interesting as there are Beto yard signs everywhere in Houston but very few Cruz signs. I think a significant factor for this is that Beto supporters see only good things flowing to themselves from their virtuous support of Beto. On the other hand, Cruz supporters worry that either a brick of bullet may fly through one of their windows should they dare plant a Cruz sign in their yard.
The overwhelming turnout for this event is more about support for Trump than it is for Cruz, but it is also a form of protest from those who feel silenced by the mob.

Like I said in another thread, I tried to get in into the Mesa rally four hours before it was supposed to start. I didnt get in. It was great to see such a large crowd, but if you want to get into the event, you better get there NOW!
Red wave is going to drown the Dems. You heard it here first.

Anybody still worried about Cruz’s re-election?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
.
Trump and Cruz have both always drawn big crowds, so it is no surprise that a rally with both of them would be huge.

"100,000+" people being interested in attending, lines of people outside the venue, shown across multiple blocks in photos..." Should have rented out NRG stadium (80,000 seats), and accommodate the remaining 20,000 in a different arena.

I had DVR’d an Anthony Bourdain Show from last week where he went to West Texas near the Border.
It was one of the last shows they had done before he offed himself.
The theme was simple, the People of West Texas who live near the Border are against the Wall being built. I found that surprising, but I also noticed that the areas he visited were very remote.
