Democrats have denounced Trump for blaming “both sides” for deadly protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, and, more recently, for defending Confederate monuments.
But the party faces a complex task: While addressing race and history in ways that reflect the party’s values, Democrats also need to focus on issues like jobs and the economy that resonate with a wider range of voters, including white independents, ahead of the 2018 midterm election.....

Dems don’t care about hard-working, tax-paying Americans. The problem is how many on the Republican side also don’t care.
They will be on the losing side, people said to let the statues stand by nearly 3:1. Most people are more intolerant of violent leftist extremists than peaceful alt right extremists.

Why worry about jobs and the economy? To democrat voters, jobs come from government, just like welfare dollars. Creating them is just a question of passing a law that says they exist.
I’d like to see Trump really piss them off by posting a two-column history of the last 25 years with all the riots and other violent acts by White Supremacists in one column and those committed by the Left in the other column....
