This fight isnt going as planned. The conventional wisdom, as August drew to a close, was that Donald Trumps campaign was in free-fall. Some of Hillary Clintons supporters had even begun to anticipate a landslide like 1964, when Lyndon Johnson crushed Barry Goldwater by 61-to-38 percent.
What a difference a couple of working weeks have made. Slumped in the Democratic corner, her haggard visage being fanned by anxious trainers, is Clinton, candidate of the status quo. Impatiently bouncing off the ropes on the other side of the ring is the overweight, orange-featured personification of very, very risky change. The status quos margin of advantage suddenly looks much smaller than anyone thought in the dog days of summer.
In the 13 most recent national polls, Clinton is ahead in just seven, and by margins of between one and five percentage points. The latest LA Times poll has Trump ahead by six points. Even the closely watched New York Times/CBS News poll of likely voters has the race tied, taking into account the substantial numbers of votes likely to go to the Libertarian and Green candidates....

When did Trump get overweight? Did it happen overnight because he looked fine to me last week.
Stopped reading at this point “bouncing off the ropes on the other side of the ring is the overweight, orange-featured personification of very, very risky change.” Idiot can’t even see that people don’t want a very, very, very corrupt Clinton.
We do not fight for TRUMP, We fight with Trump for a Great America AGAIN!! WE ARE WINNING!!
It’s a new handle they’re trying to use to deflect from Hillary’s Parkinson’s Disease.
####ing incredible.
The doctor said 6’3” and 236 pounds is overweight, but it can’t be but a few pounds overweight. I think Mrs. Bill is more overweight for her height.
The conventional wisdom sucks.
That’s right. Didn’t he become overweight sometime Saturday evening?
The Ministry of Propaganda is trying to cover their eyes from the coming landslide heading their way.
Trump for America!
illary for Prison!
It’s only conventional wisdom to those inside the beltway.
To the rest of us it looks like batsh!t insanity.
In boxing terms, that’s a BEAST, not overweight.
I’m 5 10 and my high when boxing was 220, gained towards the end. I still looked pretty good.
Now i look awful lol. :)
Thank God i’m not planning on running for president OR boxing again :)
But I do not believe that in the 2008 election cycle that Obama really believed he would win (I know I am not alone on this part), at least not at first. His intention was likely the VP slot, or a future run. Once he caught fire though, his ego prevented him from not seeing it through.
2008 was Hillary's year, or so everyone thought. Now eight years later, kankles is old years before her time and she is suffering in many ways under the stress. I still believe that she will drop out (forced out?) but that window closes very soon.
Could it actually be Obama's wins of '08 and '12 (delaying by 8 years), that saves us from a President Rodham-Clinton?
I think the DR’s report he released mentioned he could lose some weight 20 LBS? can’t remember the facts clearly.
20 pounds. That’s not weight loss. That’s me skipping meals for 3 days :)
THEY ARE REALLY REALLY REALLY desperate if they are running with a 20 pound overweight issue.
Docs say being 10 pounds over is actually healthy.
Sickening
After disclosing his blood test panels on Dr. Oz, it was erroneously announced that he weighed 267 pounds. That was amended to 236 pounds at 6' 3," making him very moderately overweight, but the earlier incorrect weight figure was out there.
I remember when he started to wear bullet proof vests he must have had new jackets made. He looked larger but the coats still fit well...
The doctor said 63 and 236 pounds is overweight, but it cant be but a few pounds overweight. I think Mrs. Bill is more overweight for her height.
Maybe the Hillary folks judge weight based on the wimpy pajama boy sizes.
I am too close to 20 over and because I am tall, and old, no one ever mentions it and I see people who look like ghosts after an illness. Usually it is from a 10-20 pound weight loss.
