David Horowitz: ‘Kristol’s Betrayal Gets Serious’
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | May 30, 2016 | David Horowitz

Posted on 05/30/2016 11:12:46 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Over the Memorial Day Weekend, Bill Kristol doubled down on his betrayal of this country with a pair of tweets: “Just a heads up over this holiday weekend: There will be an independent candidate — an impressive one, with a strong team and a real chance,” Kristol tweeted.

He also said, “Those accused of betraying GOP by opposing Trump can take heart from P. Henry 251 years ago today: ‘If this be treason, make the most of it!’”

This fatuous invocation of an American patriot to justify the betrayal typifies the arrogant disregard for political realities shared by all those involved in a defection that could produce even greater disasters than the Obama era’s 400,000 deaths by jihad and 20 million refugees across the Middle East....

Wouldn’t surprise me if there is a four way race in November. Trump, (unnamed independent), Hillary, Bernie. 25.5% would win the whole enchilada.

I’m seeing far too much anti-Semitism on this site since Kristol pulled this stuff. I, for one, do not like it.

"A third-party candidate who is presented as a "reasonable" (non-scary) outsider would draw votes from Trump, not from Hillary"

I don't believe that would be the case.

No voter will be able to discern the difference between whomever the NeoCons put up and Hillary her own self.

On all the important issues of the day: Trade, Immigration, War and the Supreme Court...they are in perfect agreement.

This would split the Hillary Vote, but the neoCons are too invested to see it.

"Donald Trump is epically unprepared to be president. He has no realistic policies, no advisers, no capacity to learn. His vast narcissism makes him a closed fortress. He doesn’t know what he doesn’t know and he’s uninterested in finding out. He insults the office Abraham Lincoln once occupied by running for it with less preparation than most of us would undertake to buy a sofa … He is a childish man running for a job that requires maturity. He is an insecure boasting little boy whose desires were somehow arrested at age 12." - David Brooks

I read that Brooks piece a few days ago.

It should not have to be explained to Brooks or anyone else that someone who has been as incredibly successful as Trump--not just successful, but leagues ahead of most successful people--is extremely intelligent.

What's more is that Trump is not an establishment insider, meaning he has a different perspective than any politician in DC today. That quality is desperately needed, since the "leadership" there now has driven us into such a hole with their group-think that it is hard to see how we will recover.

I think that Brooks, like many liberal pundits, is a bully. I recall reading that bullies like belittle their victims' strongest traits to create the impression that they are so much better than the victim in that regard. So they harass an intelligent victim by calling them "stupid", or by calling an attractive person "ugly." Brooks told us more about himself than Trump with that slanderous piece.

The article nicely details one of many democrat treasonous betrayals of our nation. If Shrillery wins this election there will never be another American election in the first republic. Bill’s problem as is our problem is a failure to recognize the dim party as the anti American Revolutionary Party that it is and has been for many decades. They are the anthisis of Americans. At the top traitors. At the bottom chattel. In the middle fools. Bill simply cannot see it.

It would be interesting if Kristol actually convinced Bloomberg to do this after he has already said he’s not running.

Not that Bloomberg would be an interesting or intriguing candidate. Mr Slurpee is horrible.

You’re really lowering the tone here. This is the 2nd anti-Semitic statement I’ve read today. FR doesn’t need it. It’s ugly and makes no sense.

Not so much Patrick Henry, but Aaron Burr and the clash with Alexander Hamilton. The famed duel ended in Hamilton’s death, from a mortal wound. But it did little to polish Aaron Burr’s resume, either.

First arrested and charged with murder, those charges against Burr were never heard in court. Burr fled to Georgia, but returned to Washington to complete his term of service as Vice-President. in 1805, he went out into the Louisiana Purchase territory to carve out a new independent empire, but this intrigue was betrayed to President Jefferson, and Burr was put on trial for treason. He was acquitted, but spent several years in exile, only returning to the United States in 1812, where he lived out his life in obscurity.

Since it's too late to get on the ballot in TX as a 3rd party candidate, the only hope of this person would be to siphon off enough votes to stop Trump.

Let there be NO OTHER EXPLANATION for this attempt. It might even be the GOPe in an attempt to get what they want, which is Hillary as POC so they maintain the status quo. All the while making nice with Trump, in case he wins.

Use to hear him frequently on Dennis Miller’s radio show.

That was back a few years ago and he sounded terrible then too.

Man deals with a lot of pressure, including threats I am sure, and the burden of the foul murderous betrayals by the Obama regime, of course.

At any rate whenever I hear him I wonder if I will ever hear him again.

Sure. A “real chance” to elect the Democrat.

Which is exactly what he wants.

He has had cancer. This is the worst I have heard him - he’s 77. He’s always had a hoarse voice but he was just breathing hard.

He was also singing Milo’s praises.

Too bad we can’t send this old time wrestler to pay Kristol a visit. Kristol is a “pencil necked geek”.
