Washington State holds its Republican primary on Tuesday, and with one candidate left in the race, there's not too much drama about the outcome. But in a twist — and what would the 2016 race be without a twist? — 40 of Washington's 41 delegates selected Saturday to attend the Republican National Convention in July are Ted Cruz partisans. Cruz supporters outnumbered Donald Trump supporters at the state GOP convention in Pasco, and they were better organized, pushing through the Cruz slate of delegates over occasional protests from Trump backers, who noted repeatedly that Cruz is no longer in the race.
Among the Trump supporters who did not get elected a national delegate is Trump state campaign chairman Don Benton, a Washington State senator. Benton predicted that the Cruz delegates will come around to supporting Trump — in fact, ACCORDING TO STATE PARTY RULES, they have to VOTE FOR TRUMP at the convention, assuming Trump wins the primary on Tuesday. But the Republicans in Washington State are not yet unified, The Seattle Times reports, and several candidates for statewide office are either studiously not saying if they will support Trump, like gubernatorial candidate Bill Bryant, or saying they won't. "Do you think I enjoy this? Not supporting the nominee?" said Chris Vance, a GOP candidate for U.S. Senate. "It's unpleasant."

But Ted isn’t conservative with his H1b and illegal immigration positions, he is for TPP, and didn’t kill Obamacare.
On the merits Trump is the conservative on these issues, that is why we support Trump.

Cruz is not eligible and that is the reason he did not win the nomination. For that reason alone, Cruz could never win the Presidency against any opponent.

You’ve got to admire Cruz’s multitasking ability to pull off a delegate stuffing while sitting poolside in Mexico. How principled and conservative of him.
As a Cruzer who is all in for Trump as the nominee, I can live with having constitutional conservatives putting together the platform and keeping the GOPe out of the driver’s seat anywhere.
Cruz has never been about constitutional conservatism. If he was he would not have been lounging poolside in Mexico last week while the Senate GOP teamed up with Obama to turn our suburban neighborhoods into section 8 dumpholes.
It is my understanding via rumor mills that Cruz hopes to stack the Rules Committee, and insert a Conscience Clause to allow the bound delegates to not vote for the Presumptive Nominee with 1237 votes if it violates their conscience.
If that happens, I hope the Trump voters, aka, The Majority of Voters chase the Cruznadian back to Canada.
True to form, Cruz will follow the laws.
And don’t forget her nasty Cousin Mary, nor all of the foreign intrigues she had to put up with on top of such in her own court. She was a brilliant woman who ruled well and with distinction.

Wow. And people around here wonder why so many of the Cruz folks don’t like Trump. When he’s got supporters making all these comments, I can see why.
Does “Trump supporters are ‘low info’” ring any bells? Sadly, Deadender Loser Cruzers have total amnesia regarding the primary. It was a two way battle but apparently they are unable to recall that. Ted Cruz gave as good as a he got it. I don’t care to rehash because it’s time for bygones to be bygones. Unfortunately, Ted Cruz does not want that and continues his divisive tantrum.
