Marco Rubio's loss is Ted Cruz's gain, a new poll shows.
The Texas senator will benefit most from Rubio's exit from the presidential race, according to new Morning Consult polling.
Among 412 Rubio supporters polled, 47 percent support Cruz as a second choice.
Twenty-seven percent of respondents said they would back Ohio Gov. John Kasich if Rubio dropped out and only 13 percent of Rubio backers said they'd support front-runner Donald Trump....

Yes. Knew quite a few in Florida and saw a few friends in TX and California. I assume all will be for Cruz now, but none have been positive about him in the past.

“Quite a few in Florida” had to have been in Miami, the ONLY place Rubio had any voice. The ENTIRE rest of Florida, from the Panhandle, east and west coasts, to Miami were SOLIDLY for TRUMP. You couldn’t find two Rubio supporters to rub together outside of Miami! Florida belongs to Trump and Cruz is in the pits here.

Well-known established pollster. Next objection?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
That still leaves 20 percent who don’t yet realize that Rubio suspended his campaign.

Please vote Trump, hes the only one who wants to ban all muslims from coming to america
To: 2ndDivisionVet
I have said it before. The reason for Rubio and Kasitch staying in the race has been to split the non-trump vote. Most of those who would support Trump, support Trump.
The GOPee think they can deal with Trump, whose forte is making deals, but Cruz will gig them on principle and that is harder to bargain with. (Why Cruz not being 'liked' on The Hill is a plus, not a negative.)

When the Rubio and Kasitch voters don’t have Rubio and Kasitch to vote for, most aren’t going to the donald. See ya in the funnies.

My mother loved Rubio’s speaking manner.
She’s completely undecided since he dropped out of the race. Won’t vote for Hillary though.
