Ted Cruz is a totally unstable individual. He is the single biggest liar I've ever come across, in politics or otherwise, and I have seen some of the best of them. His statements are totally untrue and completely outrageous. It is hard to believe a person who proclaims to be a Christian could be so dishonest and lie so much.
Cruz said I would be appointing a liberal judge when in fact I will appoint a great conservative and I am the only candidate who has gone so far, at the debate, as to suggest two individuals I feel would best represent the conservative values we need to protect: William "Bill" Pryor Jr. and Diane Sykes.
Cruz says I am pro-choice, when in fact I am staunchly pro-life and have been for a long time. Like Ronald Reagan, on many issues, I have evolved.
Cruz says I am in favor of ObamaCare, when in fact I have spoken about repealing and replacing this disaster of a system at every speech throughout my campaign and since it's inception. Meanwhile, Cruz was responsible for getting Bush to put in the judge that failed to vote against ObamaCare twice.

I liked Trump for awhile but it’s kind of wearing off.
name calling = zero credibility
Have a very nice day :)
Go Trump!!!
he hasn’t done anything but run his mouth!
He threatened this last week, Did he do anything?
Of course not, because he has nads the size of raisins and a motorboat mouth.
Imagine him acting like this with the Russians, Chinese or heck the North Koreans.
People are seeing Trump for what he IS - not what they imagine.
Maybe Trump can sue Congress when they don’t agree with him or won’t go along with his “art” of the deal.. Better yet, he could simply fire them. A government that accomplishes nothing will certainly be better than what we have now.
He’s a WWE rassler.
Which is fine except that he needs to learn when not to be a WWE rassler.
“Trump if nothing else sticks up for himself.”
“It is the nothing else that is the problem.”
And there it is, the 2 sentences that summarized the entire pro-Trump and anti-Trump sentiment on FR.
The only problem with your accusation of “lies” is that Cruz is quoting what Trump has already said. So is Trump a liar from Satan too? Maybe he’ll sue 2009Trump into oblivion.
No, Cruz doesn’t have facts. Trump has stated his positions in not only his papers, but at every campaign rally he has held. Discovery would be wonderful - it would make Cruz open his records, and then we will see if he is eligible or not.
This tears it for me. Trump is a total loon.
He won’t mind. He’s gonna be President anyway :)
Go Trump!
“Thatâs rich. Youâre a real government employee? In other words, producing nothing, living off the taxpayer, and youâre criticizing a man who earns his living in the free market, a lone man running for office who is not owned by government unions, the Donor class, lobbyists, etc., as are every professional career BUREAUCRAT.”
It is embarrassing to be caught endorsing a psycho isn’t it. Scalia was a government employee too. Back under the rock.
Google, friend, etc.
It’s accurate: Cruz’s most recent lie is when he stated that he “did not nominate Roberts, would not nominate Roberts” when accused of supporting Roberts. Cruz had a hard on so bad for Roberts he was pushing him badly even before he got into the senate, writing that Roberts was the “best ever” litigator, “second to none,” a “true conservative” “like the President who nominated him.”
There are many other lies told by the Cruz campaign. Another is the immigration issue. Cruz conflates the pathway to citizenship with legalization, so that he can claim he was always against legalization. He uses Sessions to prove this conflation, after he has already confused the issue. But Sessions, Mike Lee, not even Rush Limbaugh, were opposing legalization during the Gang of Eight fight either. Hush Bimbo himself declared on his radio program that deportation was unrealistic, and he ridiculed callers as “seminar callers” when they tried to sing a different tune.
Cruz is offering an anachronism, claiming he opposed “amnesty,” when, in fact, he called legalization part of “common sense immigration reform.” He supported this position even after the gang of eight fight was over. And for 9 straight months during this campaign cycle, Cruz refused to remove legalization of illegals off the table when directly asked by Chuck Todd, Megyn Kelly and others.
But Cruz’s supporters, despite all this history, insist that Cruz is white as snow, even though he lies constantly.
Cruz’s supporters will never convince Trump supporters that Trump is a liberal because of all this. Their candidate lies too much, and they are not honest with themselves or with other posters when they defend Cruz.
He went full Perot!
You never go FULL Perot.
Well except, I still say, WATCH THE POLLS...
This COULD, just COULD, be crazy like a fox.
It will be interesting to see how Cruz responds. Personally, I would like Cruz to respond in the vein of “bring it on, baby.” This way Trump would sue and we could finally get this topic in a courtroom on the merits and be done with it.
If Cruz deflects or changes his behavior, that also would be informative.
Wouldn’t it be interesting that if it gets exposed that the Trump/Cruz feud is to set up this situation in order to show that not only is Cruz not eligible, but a couple of others aren’t either (ahem, Rubio and ... you know who)?
THAT would make for a very interesting rest of the campaign season. Would totally buy lots of popcorn for that.
Aw, Perot was a wimp. Double Perot is the key.
Eh, Ted Cruz is absolutely shameless in his bald-faced lies. Today, TODAY Cruz said in front of a crowd:
“The one person Donald has pointed to as a potential Supreme Court nominee is his sister,”
It’s two lies in one, in fact, because when Trump complimented his sister, right after that he said, immediately, “Let’s just rule that out now.” Also, in the debate on Saturday, which Cruz was also at, Trumped named two people on stage he’d consider. No one else named anyone.
This makes me wonder if Ted Cruz even believes in hell.
