DONALD J. TRUMP RESPONDS TO THE LIES OF SENATOR CRUZ AND WARNS OF LEGAL ACTION
Donald J. trump ^ | 2/15/2016 | Donald J. Trump

Posted on 02/15/2016 11:47:23 AM PST by usafa92

Ted Cruz is a totally unstable individual. He is the single biggest liar I've ever come across, in politics or otherwise, and I have seen some of the best of them. His statements are totally untrue and completely outrageous. It is hard to believe a person who proclaims to be a Christian could be so dishonest and lie so much.

Cruz said I would be appointing a liberal judge when in fact I will appoint a great conservative and I am the only candidate who has gone so far, at the debate, as to suggest two individuals I feel would best represent the conservative values we need to protect: William "Bill" Pryor Jr. and Diane Sykes.

Cruz says I am pro-choice, when in fact I am staunchly pro-life and have been for a long time. Like Ronald Reagan, on many issues, I have evolved.

Cruz says I am in favor of ObamaCare, when in fact I have spoken about repealing and replacing this disaster of a system at every speech throughout my campaign and since it's inception. Meanwhile, Cruz was responsible for getting Bush to put in the judge that failed to vote against ObamaCare twice.

Here, at the link you gave me earlier. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-gop/3396154/posts?page=3#3

Oh, I see. I may have posted that list on a thread you started, but it was not pinged to you.

As for the topic, yes, he does think he can craft an approach that will cover most citizens because we are already billing taxpayers for anyone without funds who goes to an ER as well as many of the illegals. He wants to drive waste and fraud out by introducing competition and private sector offerings. He has also vowed to utilize better price negotiations over large pharmaceutical and medical supply purchases by government, such as within Medicare or the armed services.

As it now stands, the U.S. pharma industry has been soaking the American public for years with higher prices for the same drugs they sell in foreign countries for less -- meaning the high costs of R&D are loaded on the backs of Americans. Now we are paying even more for outrageous layers of bureaucratic Obamacare administrators and cronies of Obama that are compiling massive medical data on all Americans -- something like a $5 billion contract to the company that messed up the Obamacare exchanges to do that. There are huge areas where he can demand cutbacks and drive out cost without running the risk of a public health crisis from untreated people causing outbreaks of ebola, zika, syphilis, HIV, etc.

Not “perfect.”

Being made perfect.

But thanks for asking.

If you want to know more, ask.

Yes, Trump promised to save the yuge amount of $300 billion annually by negotiating lower drug prices. The government spent $297 billion total on drugs in 2014. That tells you a lot right there. Forgive me for not being convinced.

I'm not the one on a high horse, as the totality of your post clearly illustrates. I'm a practical person who knows when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. I must emphasize to you again the most important thing: that the Democrats are defeated. I think all of us on FR want a perfect conservative in the White House. It is not going to happen this time, even if Cruz is elected, because of his deep donor issues. We are not going to have Mayberry again in our lifetimes. It is a demographic impossibility, given the high rates of legal immigration from other cultures ever since the Kennedy administration. The towering, crushing reality that must be faced is the enormous debt load and the threat of the Hillary crime family or Bernie's communism lite coming to power, which would be the turning point beyond which there could be no possible recovery.

I love Jesus Christ and would not be here today were it not for Him and His saving grace. However, unlike yourself, I am not a perfect person. I have made mistakes in my life, and He has saved and sustained me. I have come to know His grace and the great contrast between living with it and living without it. Having acknowledged my sinful human nature, He has led me into many situations where I could minister to other people, sometimes people with grave doubts or grave sin issues, and do it with compassion. I am grateful for this. Yet, because I once was lost, and even though I've been "found" for 40 years, I still have family members who regard me as if I'm the dirt under their feet, citing their own holy Christian credentials, long marriages as if they were due to their specialness rather than due to God's grace, and their skill at seeing the motes in other people's eyes. It's puzzling to me. It reminds me of the stories of the widow's mite, or the pharisee and the publican. Surely an excellent Christian like yourself knows those stories.

And what did the government spend on medical suppllies, which I think my post mentioned? Johnson & Johnson and many other suppliers makes gobs and gobs of money on those; and I seem to recall a big fuss during the Obamacare ramp up about whether medical devices would be taxed or not. Devices include hospital drapes and surgical equipment, sterile supplies and bandages, casts, orthopedic equipment, containters, biohazard items, computerized imaging systems (that cost a fortune), lighting, beds, and other furnishings for VA hosptials and clinics, internal surgical devices like pacemakers and stents, and on and on. Do you have a figure for those government expenditures, many of which could probably also be negotiated for better cost savings?

Okay, I’ll be as specific as Donald was. He said he would save MEDICARE $300 billion annually by renegotiating DRUG prices. MEDICARE spent $143 billion on DRUGS in 2014. That is some YUGE negotiating, to get drug companies to pay Medicare $156 billion annually to use their drugs. Maybe he’ll take the drugs through eminent domain.

You can throw in the kitchen sink, but Donny’s taking about drugs. And he’s incoherent.

Trump does nothing in the free market.

If he cannot get an edge by buying off some crooked official he walks away.

Trump is a common swindler.

...Trump is ruthlessly dishonest, and now in the era of his labor union friends assassinating a supreme court judge...

You are and have been consistently extremely dishonest and insulting, however, this is a new low.

That’s a nice message but I have a few observations.

Where did you see me claim to be perfect. I simply contrasted myself with “the Donald.”

Since you are a Christian, you know about “sanctification.” As I said to another poster, I am “being made perfect.” I am not there yet, just closer than in the past.

You are right. We will not have a perfect government. We won’t until the Kingdom Age. Until then, we must judge one another by their fruits. Good tree, good fruit. Trump falls short. Bad fruit come from a bad tree. He has a record that indicates no moral compass.

Speaking of a “moral compass...”

I see your impressive array of excellent quotes on your FR home page. So I have a question: Have you lost the perspective that you had when you composed that page? Have you walked through those ideals and used them as a measuring rod to assess Donald Trump’s fitness to lead?

This is a big deal! Let’s use good sense combined with experience to make the best choice.

Don’t let yourself get hoodwinked.

Well, you are exactly correct, the latest polls show from South Carolina show that while Donald Trump may have been slipping in the internal polling he doesn’t do, now the public polls come out and show him increasing his lead over the gaggle of four candidates in second-fifth place. So, whatever vile lies his seized tongue was spewing must have worked.

Or alternatively, Ted Cruz lies and dirty tactics are catching up to him. What is more, Donald Trump is staying in the Holiday Inn Express!! And you know what that means! Smart! Smart! Smart! ;-)

Trump is in freefall.

I had an interesting day today, travelling cross country, listening to the radio talk hosts that once were on the Trump band wagon, but since saturday have given up on him.

It was the most pleasurable long drive I’ve had in years.
