And what did the government spend on medical suppllies, which I think my post mentioned? Johnson & Johnson and many other suppliers makes gobs and gobs of money on those; and I seem to recall a big fuss during the Obamacare ramp up about whether medical devices would be taxed or not. Devices include hospital drapes and surgical equipment, sterile supplies and bandages, casts, orthopedic equipment, containters, biohazard items, computerized imaging systems (that cost a fortune), lighting, beds, and other furnishings for VA hosptials and clinics, internal surgical devices like pacemakers and stents, and on and on. Do you have a figure for those government expenditures, many of which could probably also be negotiated for better cost savings?
Okay, I’ll be as specific as Donald was. He said he would save MEDICARE $300 billion annually by renegotiating DRUG prices. MEDICARE spent $143 billion on DRUGS in 2014. That is some YUGE negotiating, to get drug companies to pay Medicare $156 billion annually to use their drugs. Maybe he’ll take the drugs through eminent domain.
You can throw in the kitchen sink, but Donny’s taking about drugs. And he’s incoherent.
.
Johnson & Johnson give billions to marxist socialist causes and candidates, so they’ll love trump.
