Trump, Kasich Get a Bump in Latest South Carolina Poll

If the Republican establishment wants to slow Donald Trumps momentum, it has its work cut out for it in South Carolina. The first poll there since Trumps dominant performance in the New Hampshire Republican presidential primary on Monday shows that he has extended his lead in the Palmetto State ahead of its primary scheduled for Feb. 20.

The poll, conducted on behalf of the Augusta Chronicle, Fox News 5 Atlanta and Morris News Service, showed Trump with 36.3 percent support among likely voters in the GOP primary, up from 32 percent that last time the poll was in the field a month ago.

Trumps gain did not come at the expense of his nearest rival, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who took 19.6 percent, up from 18 percent in January. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio also gained, going from 11 percent to 14.6.

The biggest winner, though, was Ohio Gov. John Kasich. After a strong second place showing in New Hampshire, the poll found that his support in South Carolina had tripled, from 3 percent to 9 percent.

Does everyone understand what this means? In the South Carolina primary the winner gets 29 delegates guaranteed. The remaining 21 delegates will be given to the person who wins each of the seven congressional districts. It stands to reason that if trump is this far ahead he stands to win all seven districts as well. This means that he could very well sweep all 50 delegates in South Carolina. Then whoever takes second third fourth etc. is meaningless.

I’m predicting trump will win all 50 delegates in South Carolina next week.

We have that in Georgia and Alabama and probably many other states too.

The simple fact is, if Trump hadn’t jumped into the Race Jeb! would be the Belle of the Ball and Rubio would be his Prom Date wearing the bad looking Tuxedo.

Cruz would be attacked mercilessly by Jeb!’s GOPe Buddies on the Cheerleading Squad and wouldn’t gain any traction against the Chosen Candidate Jeb!

Of course we all know that Jeb! would just be setup to lose to the DemoncRat wannabe Felon, Communist or a combination of the two.

Best Election Season ever if you’re in the Popcorn and Liquor Business. The “gotcha” Debate Drinking games alone will put you under the Table.

That would be amazing. Trump will be attacked by other candidates in today’s debate. Especially Cruz & Bush. Carson is the real gentleman, never attacks anyone unless they specifically hurt his votes, such as Cruz stealing his votes in Iowa. Rubio & Ka-sick will throw in a zinger or two. But Rubio will be too busy dueling with Bush.
