The Boos Continue! Trump Ticks Off Tea Party Faithful and They Let Him Hear It

In the department of Presidential candidates hearing jeers-not-cheers from crowds, Donald J. Trump -- Republican frontrunner, real estate mogul, racist eater of burgers -- is not having a very good week. During Thursday night's Republican debate on Fox Business, Trump faced criticism from the crowd in South Carolina after he attempted to lob attacks at Texas Senator (and closest polling threat) Ted Cruz.

If at first you don't succeed, try and fail again.

On Saturday afternoon in front of a crowd of tea party activists, Trump again attempted to toss shade at Cruz, and those in attendance defiantly booed the frontrunner. According to the Associated Press:

"Trump suggested Saturday that the Texas senator is owned by big banks like Citi and Goldman Sachs. The billionaire businessman made the comments at a tea party convention in South Carolina in front of crowd split among supports of the two leading GOP White House contenders."

The below video reveals that the crowd began to turn when Trump said, "You give a campaign contribution to Ted Cruz, you get whatever the hell you want."

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

Cruz has begun to jeopardize Trump's frontrunner status in recent weeks, and many have argued that Cruz's performance on Thursday night will only increase his support. According to the newest polling data from Real Clear Politics, Cruz falls right into the margin of error with Trump's lead in Iowa, the first state that will caucus in a little over two weeks.

The truth? The truth? You can’t handle the truth!

Shameless plug, ala tongue and cheek. Just so you’re aware I don’t support Cruz either. He’s a toothless tiger.

Haven’t voted Republicrat in over 45 years. I had it with Nixon and before him, and have voted Constitution Party and it’s predecessors ever since.

Have you been living under a rock the past 30 years? Trump’s been lobbying in Congress for decades. From the Clintons to the Bushes to Obama, he’s right there. Dozens of articles, even from that diaper rag Politco since it’s so obvious to those inside the beltway:

Trump’s enthusiastic past support for reproductive rights extends past his words of support for pro-abortion politicians and services - He’s also given hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Clinton Foundation, which works closely with groups like PP to provide “family planning” services around the globe, which means he’s directly facilitated such activities.

Chris Cristie might have written a small check to a local PP chapter over 20 years ago, and he’s considered pro-abortion scum around here. Trump supports the one of the biggest population control agencies in the world to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars and he’s a pro-life champion to the same people.

I don’t get such warped logic myself, but hey, I’m probably just a GOP-e RINO.

It’s got me everywhere! I don’t compromise my vote. I sleep well knowing I did my civic duty and supported the right people, not holding my nose and pulling the lever for some political corrupt evil hacks. I vote for true Christians. I vote for real conservatives. I refuse to pick the lesser of evils when I have a choice.

If everyone else did the same we’d at least know we have people of moral integrity and would stand together, counted with our brethren. You keep voting for the enemy like so many others. How far has that got you and your family??? You win but you lose. Keep blaming the opposition. The only person you can blame for voting for immoral unjust evil politicians is yourself.

I would have to verify that he hasn’t changed his mind.

What’s happened to the country while you have done that? Gone to crap. So maybe it isn’t the right approach. Plus it’s scorched earth thinking. Scorched earth is what’s done when losing and in retreat. It’s spiteful and resentful. Remember - resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.

Ted Cruz atands for Liberty? Yeah he stands for the liberty of a Chinese- UAE company to steal an American businessman’s trade secrets, customer lists, original designs and engineering and put Americans out of their jobs.

Look up Tire Engineering & Distribution vs Shandong Linglong Rubber company and Al Dobowi Ltd.

Cruz worked on the appeals brief filed by Shandong after they had lost the case and the American Company had been awarded 26 Million in damages. His efforts were FOR the Chinese and AGAINST the American Company as if we don’t have enough theft of our Nation’s business inventions.

You make it sound like it’s my fault. Let me assure you I have done what the good Lord instructs me to do. I have done my part.

I have voted for genuine good Christian people. You’ve voted for evil politicians who are not only against democrats but against good Christian people. Again, who’s at fault here and why should I take blame from voters who think this is some kind of Superbowl game.

Unlike you I don’t think this is a game and I understand how governments work. And I refuse to enable more jerks who want me to sell my soul for a little comfort.

Huh? Who are you talking about? As recently as six months ago Trump said that PP did some good things, as if there was a way to compartmentalize and rationalize what kind of organization they are.

As far as the Clinton family syndicate goes, Donald’s hundreds of thousands of dollars ended up financing countless global pro-choice activities that the Clinton orgs support. I hope Bill and Hillary coming to his wedding was worth it.

Trump counts on the gullible who overlook his continued support of the most left wing candidates and policies, all the while bribing them for "$pecial favor$" and policies that he can reap vast profit from. He's been part of the cronyism that conservatives have fought against. He has stated "I only vote for winners!" after Hussein was elected, suggesting he fully supported and voted for Obama.

If I wanted to vote for a NY LIEberal, I'd throw in with the jackass party that Trump has supported for decades. The thin veneer of Trump's newfound conservatism has been exposed for what it is.

I’d rather know where someone stands than to be constantly wondering what the guy really means. Cruz says one thing out front, and another thing behind closed doors. Trump says it out loud up front for all to hear. I like someone with the guts to tell it like he sees it instead of moderating his issues according to PC.
