If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.

Trump.
Wonderful!
Trump
Second it.
And my job is also not to vote to elevate them to high office when they have showed a complete dearth of character.
oh...and when you’re laying in bed tonight, I hope that you lay there thinking about the fact that you are apparently willing to excuse almost anything. And I hope that you ponder what that says about you.
Trump
I used to think Trump/Cruz would be a wonderful thing. Not so much these days.
Go Trump!
Good commentary on Kelo.
I think it’s worth saying that we would not likely be having this argument here on FR if it were not for supporters of Trump attempting to rationalize his position on this.
But......it is what it is..
I see Kelo much in the same way that I see the phrase “The needs of the many exceed the needs of the one” ...or perhaps the well known song, “This land is my land, this land is your land.”
I makes a joke out of property rights by elevating the worth of the “many” over the “few”.
This kind of thinking leads to all kinds of other actions taken by societies, that devolve into socialism and turn us all into communal worker bees.
Therefore I reject it.
The individual must retain his position in society and not be made to give it to the whole involuntarily in the normal course of business. It should be a extraordinary action and very rare. It should not be done to build shopping centers...or for “PROGRESS”.......
carson
Yep it did. lol Danged freepers (the verb not the noun).
(I guess I’m a Trumpanzee, though considering the massive chimp-outs of late, seems like we’re nearly all monkeys now. Oh well.)
Trump; because I like his plans for America and his vow to stop letting the whole world trample on us. Trump’s business experience both foreign and domestic will serve us well.
Cruz
Trump
Apparently the poll and my browser don’t “talk”. I get an Internal Server Error.
Trump.
Cruz Trump, Trump Cruz!
I'll grant that yours might be an inormed opinion.
But so is mine.
They may differ. But they are merely opinions...
