Jimmy LaSalvia says his support is only "the tip of the iceberg" in terms of support for Clinton.
Former Republican activist and co-founder of the now defunct gay Republican group GOProud Jimmy LaSalvia raised some eyebrows this morning when he announced his support for Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton in the 2016 presidential race.
LaSalvia, who recently left the GOP and became an independent, describes himself as “the ultimate Republican team player†during the bulk of his career in politics. But since changing his affiliation last year, he has enjoyed the ability to make his own judgments and decisions without having to worry about towing the party line.
LaSalvia detailed his thought process and the reasons why he supports Clinton — despite differences in policy — in an op-ed published on The Huffington Post late Wednesday night....

It was a fraudulent organization from the start. Their goal is to change the GOP into social liberals. They’ve been pretty successful due to stupid people too scared to voice proper outrage.

I’ve been thinking the same thing for some time. To be honest though I want her to withdraw and then hang around for a number of years so she will be a warped crochety old battle ax.

Any bets she just goes completely incoherent? So much so that it can’t be managed like they do with Obama. Lord knows how many psych drugs he is on. I’ll bet Hillary pops them like candy too. It’s only a matter of time til those drugs make someone got bonkers.
And the GOProud expounders here on FR were shocked when we said they were Dems that were lying to themselves.
Most of them got the zot.
Now that Trump and/or Cruz are seeking to take back the party, they are rightfully fleeing for the exits.
