The last time I ranked the 10 people most likely to wind up as the Republican presidential nominee in 2016, I had Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker as the third-best bet to be the GOP standard bearer. That was Aug. 2. On Sept. 21, Walker dropped out of the race, registering as a literal asterisk in his final poll as a candidate.
The rise and fall of Walker he was an official candidate for only 70 days is evidence of the massive fluidity in the race; GOP voters are still looking around, jumping on some candidates . . . only to jump off when they start to falter.
The one constant over the past few months has been Donald Trump, who rapidly rose to the top of the field nationally and in places such as early-voting states Iowa and New Hampshire and stayed there throughout the summer and now into the fall.
Some evidence shows that Trumps shtick is starting to wear thin with Republican voters, but those same polls suggest that the real estate mogul has somewhere between 20 percent and 25 percent of GOP voters who will be with him no matter what he says or does. In a crowded field and with Trumps abilities to self-fund and to draw oodles of free media attention he cannot be written off....

Mr. T. (period) TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP (and Mr. T’s army of patriots)
oh kay..
“What are they afraid of?”
An ill informed, classless jerk with malevolent narcissistic personality disorder.
Go Ted
I believe that Scott Walker said, (paraphrasing Nathan Hale) “I regret that I have but one asterisk for my Party!”
I think his ranking of Walker as 3rd disqualifies him from ever ranking anything ever again related to politics. It would be as if he ranked the New Jersey Generals over the Harlem Globe Trotters and then thought we should ever take his analysis seriously ever again. My apologies to Walker supporters, I don’t mean to say he was a candidate with completely horrible positions, just that anyone could see he was falling off the charts a long time ago.
If you are suggesting that Ted Cruz is an ill-informed, classless jerk, you may be on the wrong site Pirate.
So what? Trump has more
“Yet unlike a toilet computer with state secrets, you arent illegal, just a jerk”
WoW!
That sure adds to the intelligence of the conversation, doesn’t it.
I was not referring to YOU, I was referring to Jebby. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
I don’t think you got my point.
Despite his dismal poll numbers, the media keeps Jeb in the race because they want those ad dollars of his before he drops out. Trump doesn’t need to spend ad dollars yet because he’s getting PLENTY of free publicity.
Sorry I took it wrong.
Happens sometimes, I guess.
hahaha.. Thank you, I stand corrected.
Sorry for my denseness.
I get your point and can’t disagree
