Donald Trump said that he did not want to “waste a lot of time” talking about his rival Rand Paul, but decided to respond to the latest criticisms sent his way from the candidate who took up the mantle left by Rick Perry and Lindsey Graham. Trump pointed out how Perry and Graham have seen low poll numbers after speaking against him, and said that Paul is heading in the same direction.
From there, Trump attacked Paul for “using the people of Kentucky” by standing against him and running for president while he is still serving as one of the state’s senators.
“Either run for Senate and do a good job or run for president. You don’t run for president and say if I don’t make it, I will become your senator reluctantly,” Trump said. “If I were a good, strong Republican from Kentucky, I would run against him in a heartbeat.”
Trump wondered aloud whether Paul’s constituents would be so willing to take Paul back in the event that his presidential bid fails.
“The people of Kentucky should get a senator that wants to represent them, not a senator where it’s a backup plan,” Trump said. “If I was in Kentucky, I would run against him, and believe me, I would win.”

I liked Rand Paul when he first ran, then he made a deal with the devil (Mitch) and started exhibiting signs of Potomac poisoning.
Trump looks to be back on the campaign trail hammering his critics.
Gramnesty went from 1% to dead ass ZERO % . He is not even a fly in Donald Trump’s room!! Much less his $109 million dollar 757 JET!!
He is not conservative. He is libertarian. Big difference. Ask him.

Rand Paul ain’t gonna be POTUS this next cycle...BUT he’s a reliable Libertarian-Conservative vote in the Senate, and these are MCUH TOO RARE. McConnell needs to go...not Rand.

I think Paul is an idiot by incessantly attacking Trump. Not because of any polls but because it makes him look desperate and pathetic
Not to mention you are running for president and you are turning off your own voters. Trump too though is behaving like a second grader. He didn’t do anything to hurt Graham or Perry
They were not serious candidates to begin with.
If you do ask him, he says he’s a Constitutional conservative, not a libertarian. His positions seem pretty consistent with that.

I think The Donald follows all laws regarding the hiring of immigrants, and I think you don’t know what you are talking about. Prove he knowingly hires illegals. Others have tried and failed. So will you.
