GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump says the Obama administration is making the U.S. look like were beggars as they pursue a long-term deal on Irans nuclear program.
We look like were beggars. We look like were sitting there begging, Trump told John Catsimatidis on Sunday during The Cats Roundtable on New Yorks AM 970.
The Persians are very good negotiators. The people representing Iran are master negotiators. Theyre dealing with fools. Theyre dealing with fools, he said, adding that Obama is not a negotiator.
ADVERTISEMENT Trump said the U.S. and other Western powers have the cards right now soon we wont have the cards but we have the cards right now and we should put sanctions much stronger, much harder.
Bring them to the table on our terms because they are really making a deal that is a deal that should not be made, he added.

They were proceeding with the sanctions on, putting them back isn’t really a threat. You can’t actually double or triple sanctions, once you’re not trading with somebody you’re not trading with somebody, you can’t extra not trade with them.
They are both professional politicians. They are after “legacy” of having solved the Iran nukes problem. They are indeed beggars for a Iran nuke deal.
And, Senator Cruz voted for the Coburn Amendment which "fast tracked" the Iran nuke Treaty.
Now, the deal will be presented to Congress and they can vote up or down, 50% +1.
No Amendments. No Filibuster. And no Article II, Section II, Clause 2.
In other words Senator Cruz and 98 other Senators voted down the 67 vote threshold to approve an international Treaty.
There is ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE between the structure of the Iran deal and the structure of TPA/TPP.
So-called conservatives in the US Senate and House are playing both sides of the same coin.
It's a friggin' disgrace.
