Agree with most of your conclusions, except I had to move Cruz 3 or notches down when he was pushing furiously for the middle class job killer Pacific Trade deal. Obviously Cruz was obeying his sugar daddy rich donors and Chamber of Commerce. Does he even know how low the wages are in most of the Pacific rim countries except Japan? Has he got any clue how many factories moved from United States to Mexico after NAFTA? Or, that zilch, zero, nada number of factories moved from Mexico to United States after NAFTA?

Bull shit it maybe since it is a polling average. We were talking about the top ten
for debate purposes. Not were each was individually. And the top ten may well change
by debate time.

Trump easily tops the field when asked which candidate voters think can best handle the economy; 29% choose Trump, 13% Bush, with everyone else at 7% or less. And Trump is the clear leader among Republicans when they are asked which candidate would best handle international trade (27% choose Trump, 14% Bush).

Come gather ‘round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You’ll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you
Is worth savin’
Then you better start swimmin’
Or you’ll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin’.

Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won’t come again
And don’t speak too soon
For the wheel’s still in spin
And there’s no tellin’ who
That it’s namin’
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin’.

Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don’t stand in the doorway
Don’t block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There’s a battle outside
And it is ragin’
It’ll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin’.

Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don’t criticize
What you can’t understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin’
Please get out of the new one
If you can’t lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin’.

The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is
Rapidly fadin’
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin’.

And the ad I got was in Spanish.

I personally really doubt it if Palin could “put a stick of dynamite” into the prez race. She’s unelectable.

With that said, she’s pretty, she’s smart, she’s all American, she’s a good politician and I’d love to have her in the number one spot.

But she’s been so heavily trashed by the MSM only die hard conservatives would vote for her, and that’s not enough to win.

We need fresh people out there. Cruz, Walker, Fiorina, even Trump. The only one that makes me gag is Jeb.

"Too bad for Cruz that he has no chance to break out in the debates. If only he’d gone into debating in college or argued successfully many times before the Supreme Court. Oh, well."

Oh, how I look forward to the debates.

I believe in polls of several thousand likely voters much more than what you or any other single individual may or may not believe.

If speeches and debates could solve problems, we should be living in Camelot by now! Professional politicians have been talking about all the good stuff they will do if we just vote for them, since I started listening to them in 1960’s.
And we are so much better off now! /SARC

And, where are the polls citing these thousands of likely voters? Are they Republican likely voters? Maybe you like the MSNBC poll where 1200 people voted...except that only 300 so called REpublicans voted.

I’d prefer the polls on the ground...the grassroots polls. You know why? We vote. You know who we support?

Ted Cruz!

Again, I repeat, I believe polls run by professional news organizations such as Fox News, more than your individual opinion. No disrespect intended, because you are entitled to believe anything your heart so desires.

Yeah another filibuster which resulted in nothing stopped. I would like to know some major bills sponsored by senator Cruz which have become law.

Well, that might make some sense if I had claimed that debates solve problems, but I didn't, did I? So your response is nothing but a straw man.

The debates will be a vehicle which will allow Cruz to pull away from the pack and show that he's the best and most solid conservative candidate.

It's way past time to move on from fantasies of Sarah Palin running for the presidency. She's not going to, and I for one am glad of that. We have a much more suitable candidate in Cruz.

There shouldn't be any expectation for Cruz to pass any legislation. He is, after all, in direct opposition to the GOP leadership.

Which is what makes him an attractive conservative candidate, is it not?

Yes, I know Senator Cruz is different from the majority of GOP republicans senators, in that he is much more conservative. So if the senator has difficulty to unify the republicans in senate, what method will he use to unify majority of the 535 congress critters, which includes democrats and socialists, if elected president?

I am impressed with his intelligence, speech making skills and his conservatism on most issues except the middle class job killer pacific trade bill. My problem is he has not shown ability to bring people together to pass conservative agenda bills.
