When it comes to dealing with the Confederate flag, Jeb Bush isn't leaving much room for interpretation in his stance on the issue.
The former governor recalled Saturday how he ordered the removal of the flag from Florida state grounds in 2001, adding that he believes South Carolina will do "the right thing" as the state decides what to do about the controversial symbol that flies at the capitol in Columbia.
His comments come as 2016 presidential candidates face questions over how to handle the racially sensitive debate that follows the massacre of nine African-American parishioners by a white gunman in a Charleston church this week.
"My position on how to address the Confederate flag is clear," he said in a written statement. "In Florida we acted, moving the flag from the state grounds to a museum where it belonged. This is obviously a very sensitive time in South Carolina and our prayers are with the families, the AME church community and the entire state. Following a period of mourning there will rightly be a discussion among leaders in the state about how South Carolina should move forward, and I'm confident they will do the right thing."(continued)

When they came for the Stars and Bars I said nothing. Then they came for Gadsen.
Still trying to atone for those “racist Southern parents” you had, I see.
They stole that land from the Ojibwe and that flag is offensive. (See how that works?)
As I said on another thread, a lot of my neighbors display the stars and bars right there with the Texas flag no matter what their ethnicity-it would not be a good idea for any dips*** from some hate group or whatever else to try telling rednecks to take down a flag they happen to like...
The bed-wetter Bush never had the south locked down, and never will. Bush needs to run with Hillary as a joint ticket.
I guess someone should say it.
It is actually not the “Stars and Bars”. That is the official Confederate flag which slightly resembles the U.S. flag only with much larger stripes (bars), and a different pattern for the fewer stars.
I personally think the “Cross of St. Andrew” flag is much prettier and I have noticed just about all the surviving battle flags of Confederate units, have the Cross.
“Go ahead, flame me.”
Al Sharpton, is that you?Welcome to FR, new guy.
Im positive i woukd vote for whoever is running against the leftest thug.
Jeb and his family among others are the termites.
Its all part of the propoganda. The communist. using the 10% and acting like they are 50%. All over TV ect. Unreconstructed
That’s nothing! My state flag has a half-naked chick and a murder on it...
“My state flag has a man with a gun on it.”
It depends on how many rounds the magazine holds.
It is a certainly that Jeb Bush is unfit for the Presidency of the United States.
Certainty....X@#!it.
Yes its time to push back. The left shuts down dissent by screaming over you and as someone said making the 10% seem like 50%. Time to start using their tactics.
1) I will not vote for Jeb. I held my nose voting for the two George Bushes as well as Dole, McCain, and Romney. No longer will I vote for someone who doesn’t value individual liberty, honor the founding fathers, or hold his native country in greater esteem than the “global community”
2) As to the flag, I have decided to purchase a 13 star flag with the stars arranged in a circle (known as the “Betsy Ross” flag). I will fly this flag to honor the republic as it was created, the founding fathers, and the concept of living free. The current 50 star flag no longer represents a corrupt tyranny that pretends to be a free nation.
Am I the only one who remembers the compromise 15 years ago that moved the battleflag to its current location?
The real lesson is: never negotiate with leftists. They will immediately repudiate, cheat on, ignore, or weasel out of any agreement, no matter how clearly written. They are incapable of acting in good faith.
No wonder our side always loses in the end. The only reason to support a conservative position is because it is rooted in principle. Our side won’t even point out the principle in play, much less fight for it.

I have learned a lot from the Libtards. Just start screaming and yelling and excoriating anyone who disagrees with your viewpoint until you shut them down or shame them into doing what you want. :-)
They won’t be happy until every state flies the white flag of surrender
