Ted Cruz 54.57%
Rand Paul 21.01%
Someone else 10.66%
Marco Rubio 6.95%
Chris Christie 5.29%
Don't know 1.51%
If this is a poll to try to help boost interest in Christie, backfire comes to mind.

Feel good poll - wonder why they left Walker off it - the addition would have created different dynamics.

“No - what’s needed is someone who’s got the blood of the Framers running through their veins.”
Roger that!!! This business about the next President needing to come from the ranks of governors is vapid nonsense coming from establishment types to try to keep out Cruz/Rubio/Paul. What I care about is their principles, world view, and reverence for our founding ideals.

He hasn’t declared his candidacy. Those folks have. Although I’m pretty sure Krispy Kreme hasn’t either, but it’s a New York site.

I voted for my Senator and my choice for the next President of the United States, Ted Cruz. But, in all fairness, I wonder what the poll would look like if Scott Walker was in the mix. Guess I need to re-read the article to find out why he wasn’t included. The poll is NOT just those who have “declared their candidacy” because Christie is in the poll. Possibly the Walker supporters voted for “Someone else”, but, that vote total could be divided up by at least 4 other possible contenders.

I prefer Cruz out of this field.
Don’t like Rubio’s squishiness on immigration.
Christie is too far left.
Rand Paul is a maybe, if Cruz doesn’t make the final round of nominations.
