U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas got the ball rolling: On March 23, he announced he was running for president and became the first Republican to enter the 2016 presidential race. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky quickly followed suit and became the second Republican to officially declare his candidacy.
Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida officially joined the race Monday. They could all face New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie in the Republican primary.

I'm afraid that's a bit of wishful thinking. Ain't gonna happen by any stretch of the imagination.
Why? Because, like it or not, Sarah's image has been too corroded by the efforts of the MSM and the rest of the jackals of the institutionalized left.
I'm afraid her last chance to be a serious contender in national politics was in 2012, when she could have handily wiped the board clean and won the respect and support of virtually the entire right wing voter base. I'm convinced she would have become President, had she just made the choice to get in the race early on.
At this point, her presence on a national ticket would be detrimental, and not a plus. This, despite the fact that she is one of the individuals most qualified for the job of president in our country. Trust me when I say that Sarah will be working behind the scenes to support Ted's campaign, and that she will not be chosen by him as his running mate.
and they'd still be outweighed.
OMG......tears of laughter!

Here's why I prefer Cruz : of all the candidates, he has the most full vision of what conservatism is and its value as a guide to make a better America. It's in every cell of his body.
Even more important, he has the ability and desire to lay out this vision to the American voter. He is the most persuasive and eloquent communicator since Reagan. He can handle the MSM and their traps better than anyone since Reagan as well.
This factor cannot be underestimated. The man shows his strength every day, every day we hear something new and encouraging. I love it.
Ping to the prior post.

Eloquently stated, Lake. I keep communicating the same concepts about this man to every undecided conservative I speak to. Well done.

I love it that Ted is running away with this poll. May he continue the same momentum til election day, 2016!
Go Ted!
One more wonderful and personal reason : I believe he will appoint Governor Palin to his cabinet, allowing her the fresh and respectable new beginning she deserves.
Watching libs explode for years over this appointment will be worth several small fortunes. .....
