Is that after Cruz announced? Otherwise we will have to hear that it is a crappy poll. Walker so deserves to not only be number one in this poll, but get our nomination and become the President of the United States. He is the one with results which Americans are going to want this time since making the error of picking a talker last round. Americans won’t make that mistake again.
Okay, eliminate Ben Carson, Huckleberry, Sweater Vest, Krispy Kreme, Perry, Jindal and Kasich. Then what do you have?
Are people crazy? One good operation and a pretty good movie and we want to vote for him for President.
Sigh. It will pass.
Polls are just another name for mob rule.
Get back to me after Walker announces. So far he’s not even running. Neither is Rubio, Bush, Fiorina, Santorum, Jindal or Huck. I only see Cruz and Paul out there taking the heat and moving forward.
Time will tell.
Twelve candidates? The debates will be ridiculous.
Carson, Huckabee, Christie, Perry, Santorum, Jindal, and Kasich have no chance.
That leaves Walker, Bush, Cruz, Paul, and Rubio as the only serious candidates.
I think Paul will probably self-destruct early, so that leaves four.
The only question is: When the Republicans select their mortal enemies to moderate their debates, which one of the four will survive the ambushes?
My two cents . . . Cruz will shine.
Somehow, conservatives need to unite behind either Walker or Cruz by October of this year. Both have strengths. Both have weaknesses. But both are conservatives who could win a national campaign.
We cannot wait for a few primaries to see who gains momentum. If we divide our votes until February 2016, we will guarantee Jeb Bush is so far ahead that he cannot be caught.
We did not unite behind a single conservative candidate in 2008 and it got us McCain. We did not unite behind a single conservative candidate in 2012 and it got us Romney. We can stick to our favorite and spend the next 4 years complaining about Jeb or Hillary, or we can get behind on of these two candidates.
The Tea Party should throw a mock election about half way through the primaries. Make it for conservatives only, and get the conservative candidates to agree to drop out, and support the winner. That winner could clean house on Jeb, and put an end to this advantage liberal Republicans have. We might even win a general election with someone who would make winning mean something.
Don’t trust ANY news organization. Fox would sell out Cruz for 50 bucks.
Bwahahahahah! Carson ahead of Cruz? Get real.
It’s good to see that Fox has (for now) given up on Bush and has moved slightly to the right to Walker.
Give them time and they may even slant their coverage to support an actual conservative.
“....First, Walker strikes no one as an egghead or a wonk. He has the personality of an ordinary, good-hearted American the kind of guy who coaches youth baseball teams or teaches Sunday School classes or gives us a ride to work when our car is in the shop. We see this as an understated but palpable decency not sainthood or anything that fancy, but rather inherent American goodness....
....Watch how Scott Walkers unfolding campaign is covered by the media. The very strengths that let Reagan not only win election but implement policies will be sneered at in Walker by a Leftist oligarchy that has no real notion of decency, sincerity or guts. Note that Walker has already said that his goal is not to win elections but then to do something with that victory (i.e. simply gaining power is not important.) This sort of talk befuddles Leftists who love power for its own sake and love, really, nothing else...”

What I don't want to see is Walker and Cruz to split the conservative vote, leading to Bush getting the nomination. This is what the GOPe wants.
Walker and Cruz need to get together at some point early in the primaries and agree to merge, with whoever is ahead getting the Pres spot, and the other getting VP. A Walker/Cruz or Cruz/Walker ticket would win.
