Somehow, conservatives need to unite behind either Walker or Cruz by October of this year. Both have strengths. Both have weaknesses. But both are conservatives who could win a national campaign.

We cannot wait for a few primaries to see who gains momentum. If we divide our votes until February 2016, we will guarantee Jeb Bush is so far ahead that he cannot be caught.

We did not unite behind a single conservative candidate in 2008 and it got us McCain. We did not unite behind a single conservative candidate in 2012 and it got us Romney. We can stick to our favorite and spend the next 4 years complaining about Jeb or Hillary, or we can get behind on of these two candidates.

You are correct. The RNC is counting on us splitting our votes up so they can nominate another designated loser like the last two elections.

CRUZ TO VICTORY OR GET BUSHED !

Really you can blame 2008 on Romney, he kept out all the serious challengers by coming on as the rich candidate early in the primary, with all the big money sewn up and a massive army of Mormon campaign workers.

Hear Hear! A brilliant proposal. And it agrees with what I have been posting for months.

Wrong. We need multiple conservatives on the debate stage. Otherwise, the one gets drowned out by all the moderates.

We need to unite NOW behind a candidate, and Cruz is that candidate. That I have long known exactly where he stands on issues ranging from Obamacare to environmentalism and I still don't know where Walker stands on those issues, tells me that Cruz is the only one who SERIOUSLY gets the picture and is a straight shooter.

Walker tries to play it safe and protect himself, for example dancing around ethanol to say he doesn't support it in such a way as not to offend folks who asked, while Cruz took a RISK, went out on a limb, and stated flat out "No" when asked the same question. Where does Walker stand on Obamacare? I don't know -- but I do know that Cruz has ONE AIM regarding Obamacare -- to repeal it entirely, and that is the ONLY thing I will vote for regarding Obamacare.

Why is anyone even wasting their time considering another option when an excellent one, Cruz, is right in front of us right now and has DECLARED??? Time is of the essence -- this waiting to "get behind one candidate" until after Walker has declared, will only split the vote and give it to a moderate like Bush, who will lose in the general. Conservative patriots who like Walker should be urging him throw his support NOW behind Cruz and waiting until 2020 or 2024 to run for president. IT's not rocket science, for crying out loud!!! TIME IS LIMITED!!!

Republicans will hang themselves with their own rope again, being indecisive until it's too late.

The time is NOW to unite behind the 2016 candidate. NOW.
